I watched Tuesday's game on Sky's red button.The other half was out so no Eastenders and makeover programmes malarkey.
Great goal by Dykes but the 3 points were there for the taking.
I turned the TV off and sat quietly reflecting on my time following the R's.
Being 64 I am lucky enough to have seen the glory years-say 1966-1994-.and had a great 3 days in Reykjavik back in '84.
The question I am putting out there for all those who are a long way away from drawing their OAP and never saw the likes of Rodney,Stanley,"Henry" Mancini,Phil Parkes,Clive Allen etc.. is

What a coincidence- I have the home ( Highbury ) programme right in front of me. They had a Stefan Johannsson playing for them; thought it was a young version of our one but he’s a keeper and he spells his name differently. Close! |  |
