It’s 12 weeks exactly until the final weekend of the season so was hoping to nab a ‘bargain’ on our envy of the world train service but they don’t appear to have been released yet for the Sunday. Is 12 weeks before still the time advance tickets go on sale?

Planning to do Friday-Sunday in Newcastle if anyone has any recommendations for accommodation for about ten of us. Not finding any reasonable options as yet vaguely close to the city.

But a few years ago got a Ryanair to
Newcastle
Then a taxi to Sunderland.
Worked out a lot less than a train direct to Sunderland

The game will be on the Saturday with a 1230 kick off. Last game of last season at Coventry was 1230 on the Saturday. I bought a Sunderland train ticket 2 weeks ago. £60 return. Wasn’t going to be any cheaper than that. Train is direct to Sunderland.
