Never said a truer word there Paddyhoops but I suspect on a festival one off he will deliver a good set .
Saw him at Farm Aid one time gave a long speech about factory farms ( justified those cruel fcuking places ) but the crowd got really restless and he became upset and only played a couple of songs .
Another time tour advertised as NY and Crazy Horse but he played a full set called Greendale for the first hour drove people nuts and lots left. I stayed and enjoyed his second hour greatest hits.
Expect a good opening blast of anti Trump stuff its pretty ugly over here between misicians and POTUS

300 goals in 370 games for Haaland bosh67 I know you are joking but only for some sensational saves against him since he came to City he would have 350 by now.
QPR need a name striker I believe and I would push the boat of cash out to get one (if we have cash of course)
All the posters on here basically agree we are going to be a high intensity attacking side hopefully creating lots of chances and we need those put away to have a great season.
Once we score early and get ahead over the last few years our chances of getting points increased and that was with avarage or zero strikers basically.
Once we fell behind by 1 and dont mention 2 we were done and dusted even with late pushes ,we almost never rescued the points.
Get ahead ,push further ahead, pull some wins back from losing positions and we will be a great team to watch and be competitive then avoiding season killer losing streaks.
Call Brighton again for Ferguson ,he was wasted at West Ham ,wont get playing time at his parent club and is desperate to play with WC qualifying right around the corner

QPR complete head-turning acquisition of Peterborough’s Poku – Signing
at 14:32 28 Jun 2025

Excellent news to start our weekend its begining to look exciting for QPR fans after 6 weeks of doom and gloom.
Superb videos by Greg thanks, and love the summaries he delivers for us mere mortals.
Your ending chapter is excellent also we need some bast*rds to get in the opposition faces and officials too plus these last players have speed and skill we are steadily moving away from the bottom 3

Pre-nup right away before and deal is signed .
Arsenal still are lacking in strikers IMO so even with Eze and Saka they will still finish behind Pool and City I suspect.
I know we talked about the waste of space the club cup competition in the US is but that City team that kicked the crap out of Juventus last night seem pretty dangerous to me.
No KDB or Grealish or a couple of other war horses but it seems like they have re tooled pretty well.
Eze keeps saving us we promise this will be the last time

Underfloor bathroom heating
at 14:33 27 Jun 2025

Waiting for Boston to finish his coffee and donut and chime in as this is his area of expertize I think.
The new under floor heating is a coil that you unwind and click into groves in a subfloor you install directly on top of virgin wood .That is even distributed across the bathroom but not under vanities .You then spread self leveler and install ceramic or porclain tile over it and you are happy . Its then connected to a thermostat and you simply turn it up or down so its off until you step in.
The basements and garages have a radian heat system where hot water flows through underground pipes to heat the area. This is the one thats most expensive and high risk because if you drive a nail through those pipes (yes I have done it homeowner said its not in use dont worry about it )you are fcuked.
In summary the heated bathroom floor is highly recomended and once the inital cost is paid it will be very reasonable to run IMO

Kealey Adamson - Welcome
at 14:19 27 Jun 2025

Any chance they will try and move JCS out once he is 100% he has shown to be an excellent defender but shocking fragile and that really hurt us last year .
Some one on Hopes and Dreams mentioned they suspected Stephan was around our building for a couple of weeks and might have been in on the Cook and Dunne discussions resulting in extensions .
New country, new league he will want all his experienced pros around to get his early results positive then work in the kids later when things have settled down

The QPR summer transfer rumours thread
at 14:08 27 Jun 2025

I would settle for someone who can come on and rescue a game or grab a winner once the other strikers have battered away for most of the game .
We have 5 half decent strikers but most of us agree Alfie and probably Koli will be sent out on loan ,Celar is back hopefully and the other 2 should be fine.
New Manager will have his own ideas and might want something completly different than we have in house plus like was mentioned QPR always sneak in a few pounds for players every summer.
We have a decent spine right now need a Haaland type (incredible anticipation and desire who can sniff a chance and go with pure instinct ) at Walmart prices of course

Latest WLS podcast - Koki Saito
at 21:36 25 Jun 2025

I only get to watch QPR on tv but it was pretty clear that Dembele was not close to the same player when he came back.
He kept running into defenders while in posession almost always losing the ball, hitting the deck and waving his hands around at the officials looking for frees he is never getting .
His pace and skill are a welcome sight but he is just not strong enough to battle those giants and his decision making is not great IMO.
Saito is the better option of the two in relation to team play despite a lack of protection also from officials and his unselfish play is what the new manager is looking for .

Well I am very old and times have changed but a suit and tie would be a much better look for the first day with all the pictures and interviews etc IMO.
However he does appear to be very energetic and wants us to play attractive football and above all passion for the jersey which is nice to hear .
Good luck to him its already looking like an interesting summer at QPR

Marti Officially Gone
at 03:33 25 Jun 2025

Going over the first WBA report you slipped in probably one of your top lines ever talking about JCS " he would limp out of his own wedding " now that is funny stuff.
Speaking of JCS he was so critical to us staying up when Marti arrived then once he limped out for most of last season we were not close to the same team and his and other injuries . cost Marti his job IMO
Its going to be interesting how quickly Marti is hired in England or elswhere now that he is free from our schackles .
Was excellent at pre and post match interviews just a pity Clive was not allowed his 1 on 1 interview to give us a glimpse behind his cool exterior .Good luck to him

Hot weekend ahead
at 22:25 24 Jun 2025

3 days in a row mid 90s here and opressive humidity and its only end June this is normally late july / august heart attack heat.
Walking the dog the short route was pushing it and not sure which one of us ran for the house quicker to be honest.
Despite all that I have never fully adjusted to air conditioning set to 68 its something that you simply have to endure

Once again you hit nail directly on head espiceally about our strikers.
Some posters say we have 5 and should be ok but like you Huntergoop I am not convinced we have even 3 at championship level and we CANNOT do what we did last year again.
We need proven scorers or clinical poachers (Austin fit this mold right time right place most times) who can take advantage of our set up talent.
No point in bombarding oppenents with crosses if we cannot get on them or we will find ourselves watching Chair do his 9 moves and shooot or worse Smyth pull it across to his left leg someone will get killed high up in the loft in critical times
We look decent so far and if we stay healthy hopefully tough to beat but our massive flaw is getting back even and winning matches late and you need good strikers for that

WW3 on its way

Excellent post but you are overplaying the Epstien files card there a majority in the USA could not gives a crap about those files and you have Bill Clinton on live on tv this week and nobody bats an eye lash or asks him about it and he is high up on the island guest list without his secret service detail.
However I suspect many people are not in favor of this strike IMO and without congress it makes it more difficult to sell.
Bringing in the big bombers and dropping the payload is one thing but NOBODY left or right wants US boots on the ground and with Trump despite his promises nothing can be ruled out.
Are we all safer today I have my doubts but I am not educated in these matters but it sure looks like Isreal have serious power over world leaders and that is not a good thing IMO

Things that annoy you in life .
at 14:12 21 Jun 2025

You forgot to mention trying to rip off that tiny strip of plastic to get to the open here pull apart spot and for some reason I normally have wet hands good luck with that.
Ends up getting ripped open below the sealing strip then having to look for another plastic zip lock bag to put the plastic zip lock cheese/ ham into so yes almost a weekly occurance for me wombat .
However it pales in comparison to motorbikes driving in between cars on expressways in slow and literally zooming inches from your door risking their lives and frightening the crap out of me.
3 times last night it happened totally reckless ,stupid and shows how much they give a fcuk for anybody else.
Not wishing harm on anybody but would not mind seeing those kunts standing on the shoulder beside a crushed bike it would teach them
