Very fair and informative report but this new manager specialises in cup runs and lots of us were expecting this to start last night . Instead its worse than business as usual for QPR fans we literally threw this game away before the kick off and the same manager appears delighted we are out its a bit strange like most posters agree. At least we still have the FA cup in the dead of winter to look forward to |

Where is everybody who made that long midweek trip last night I cannot wait to hear their reactions or wait for the match report . Was there any rumblings of this kids team being played and was it exciting being there with money well spent or another cluster fcuk cup defeat for QPR |

Good post and our first 2 games this season backs it up perfectly . 1 goal up at halftime on opening day and did not sniff a second one to kill it off lost 2 points .2 goals up last night ( i know kids these days ) but anything close to a 3rd and we are in the draw for the next ground. We need to create chances and have 3 or 4 strikers on call to bang them in thats our only hope and this signing is an excellent cure for the hangovers after the loss last night . |

If you had the sound off I swear it looked like we actually won such was his joy thats a bit strange for sure. Its very obvious the fans got behind the team like they always do but if they knew there were no senior players on the field would they have paid their money down to go there to see that. Shame QPR could not force penalties it would have created some more value for their money |
 | Forum Reply | Preston make their point as QPR run out of puff – Report at 18:49 11 Aug 2025
Excellent report and from watching it on TV that tackle/attempted murder on a breakaway was a straight red all day but he got hurt on the tackle ( we think ) and it was only yellow. The ref who you rate highly was pretty poor all day IMO we could have had a penalty or 2 but got our usual zero cruical calls even at Loftus Road. We have lost the ability to get that cruicial second goal the few times we actually take the lead which almost always cost us 2 or 3 points and it did here |

Has to be one of the most frustrating things for players and fans at LR when we simply cross the ball straight into the keepers hands or worse still out of play wildly which we did multiple times yesterday. And that was with Paul Smyth nowhere in sight . Everybody are saying Preston are a sh*t team this year but they managed to put the ball into the danger zone so many times we were so lucky to escapr. Most other teams we play pick the correct cross pass when they penetrate our coverage but we normally miss all targets. The corners have been shocking but mostly the fault of Paal hopefully this year we can put that right |

its been pretty consistant last 2 years the ball finds Field and he has rarely been able to get a strike off so multiple glorious chances wasted . He has scored a few but mostly blases wide or fails completly which is something he has to improve despite his excellent attitude and effort. Chair and Dembele appear to be pretty selfish in the attacking zone and you could see signs of frustration like arm waving etc when the open players were not found. We needed a second goal but like pretty much always we gave one up instead and without any real threat of goals for us a decent point I think |

Well that was very exciting we totally dominated yet have the reliable OG to thank but its the least we deserve to be fair . Very poor ref today possibly 2 penalties on Celear and the handball plus a couple obvious pushes we did not get ,yet Preston got that one in the last attack. We need to do something very unlike QPR and score a second to put this away |

Did not know he was able to deliver frees like that always knew he could cross it though. Big season for him could actually be a starter for ROI in the WC qualifiers if he continues his form. Ronnie is human ? |

Good informative post as usual but the last line is my question if you or someone has the answer . Is Smyth simply being pushed down the pecking order or injured or something else going on. Not the best player at QPR but he gives his all and counter attacks with pace helps to get us up the field etc and apart from his crossing and shooting valuable to us IMO. Is JS waiting to spring Smyth next Saturday with Celear and Frey maybe or is he going to be a bench warmer this year |

Shame thats one tradition I was hoping would survive its been such a staple of games since the begining . Just like the concert tickets a bar on your phone now compared to those beautiful tickets you recieved from the postman and had to guard with your life for months until the date rolled around . Those ticket stubs from the 60s and 70s are getting huge prices I read somewhere now such is the demand for nostalgic good old days.I have none of those of course |

I thought Begovic threw in the towel to focus on his goalkeeping school after his one season as back up . Marti will be bringing a serious team remember their last visit when we had Ainsworth the predictions were a savage beating but we kept it close hopefully go one better this time |

I am the exact opposite TheChef love the collars as the V neck never fits well on me plus the new athletic taylor fit is not great either . I would go a step further and like 3 buttons in the collar because I need that fit to look half decent and cannot go around with the top buttom closed if there is only 2 . I love the green and white 3rd kit but have the Brooks one in the closet. Unrelated but I wore my 85 Guinness shirt to the Hozier concert last week but nobody shouted Urssssssss sadly |

 | Forum Reply | Brentford taking their full allocation at 13:13 29 Jul 2025
Thats the problem in a nutshell the fans who have carried the club on their shoulders/wallets are now being priced out by the club they have supported all their lives. Its not just Brentford of course probably across the globe but highlighted in England more I think. Maybe clubs like QPR and others can take advantage of this price gouging to attract frustrated fans or at least the casual ones to come and enjoy live football at prices that are affordable with enough money left for rent ,food etc . |
 | Forum Reply | The GAA at 15:18 27 Jul 2025
The GAA decided to switch up the hurling and football finals back to July ( incredibly stupid and greedy IMO ) to get more games (round robin league format ) and really cash in. This frees up the players to play with their local parish teams for their county championship during late summer and finish before the winter slog hit and games were played in horrible conditions. Also player welfare was supposed to be an issue but with more games in Spring/early Summer not sure that is working out. There is rumours the new GAA President is keen on moving the finals back to September lets hope that passes . Kerry to win by 6 points its coming home to Killarney tomorrow |
 | Forum Reply | Kelman:Here We Go at 15:10 27 Jul 2025
Something tells me Chair is going to have a great season for us he looks up for it after those few pre season games. Not just the injuries last year but he had that serious legal issue hanging over his head and that must have effected his confidence and energy/attitude. If we can ger our strikers scoring it will take defenders away from Chair and he could really hit the ground running with lots of long range goals hopefully |
 | Forum Reply | Burton’s Burrell added out of the blue – Signing at 14:56 27 Jul 2025
2 words that is pure joy to QPR fans ears typed by Greg ( thanks for that magnificent upload) are poacher and rapid . We have wasted so many chances over the last 2 years by strikers not being in the right place at the right time (poacher ) and snatching at chances (Field) rather than being already in position to simply slide the ball into the net .This alone can win us multiple games or at least finally claw back some draws from losing positions . Rapid opens so many more doors for us causing pure panic amoung defenders so look for more penalties for QPR and many more bookings/red cards for opposition defenders trying to catch up. Great way to start a sunday thanks to everybody involved |
