Does anyone have an information on when the club will announce the date and time of the final? It would be great if we could get a big crowd there, and a much better way to sign off the home season than an 0-5. |

"The Ben Williams situation clearly had an impact – he was offered a big opportunity abroad and took it, which is understandable. But the void it left in the football department was felt. That said, I’ve heard that’s now been addressed for next season, which is good news."

So why are you still refusing to answer legitimate questions over your claims?
There are a lot of regular posters and match goers in here who all remember the Tommy Nintendo stalking campaign, the Paladini subversion of social media sites and you wonder why posters have their hackles up. You have made provocative statements and fobbed it off as common knowledge, it isn't! I could tell you why George Goddard was better than Brian Bedford but it would all be bollocks I found on a search engine. Finding out why Mavis was preferred to Olly, or which was the better of QPR's Budgies might not be so easy. Terry Cinzano may be able to help you with that one.c |

I feel this is where I am on this "leak" MC has almost universal approval with the fans and this smacks of the early shots in a smear campaign. We have been told regularly that there is a rift between MC and CN and CN is losing the popularity contest, by a distance, so this is an option for him.
CN can't smear with a palpable lie, so I have no doubt that MC has told his agent to start looking around in case it is he, MC, that gets the Spanish archer. It doesn't mean that he doesn't want to stay but he also doesn't want to be out of work with no options either.
We've seen, by the reaction to the Burnley game, how volatile the fanbase is so CN could quite easily sow the seeds against MC and, with a few well placed agent provocateurs in the various SM outlets, push the agenda that MC is a snake and fans want to see the back of him now.

As a singer I sing at many funerals & I was recently asked by a funeral director to play & sing at a graveside service for a homeless man. He had no family or friends, so the service was to be at a pauper's cemetery out in the country. As I was not familiar with the area, I got lost. I finally arrived an hour late and saw that the funeral guy had evidently gone and the hearse was nowhere in sight. There were only the diggers and crew left and they were eating lunch. I felt badly and apologized to the men for being late. I went to the side of the grave and looked down and the vault lid was already in place. I didn’t know what else to do, so I started to play. The workers put down their lunches and began to gather around. I played out my heart and soul for this man with no family and friends. I sang like I’ve never played before for this homeless man.
As I sang & played “Amazing Grace”, the workers began to weep. They wept, I wept, we all wept together. When I finished, I packed up my keyboard and started for my car. Though my head hung low, my heart was full.
As I opened the door to my car, I heard one of the workers say, “I’ve never seen nothin’ like that before and I’ve been putting in septic tanks for twenty years.” Apparently, I’m still lost…. |

Les Ferdinand, he would stand for pics and sign autographs before games until he was in danger of being fined or dropped for being late into the dressing room. I used to park next to him, Macca & Impey on the WC estate years ago and occasionally would arrive, and walk to the ground at the same time as him and I never got the impression that minded.
Armand Traore was another who I often used to walk from WC station to the ground with and we had some really good conversations, not always about football and he always to ask about what was going on in my life too so not self absorbed.
Rayan Kolli is also a nice person from my, more limited than the others, contact with him.
Stéphane Mbia was another really nice person who liked to chat to fans and there is a couple from Sothampton who are S/T holders and he always used to give his shirt to them after games, including his Cameroonian shirts. |

Julie will be selling the last 20 copies of this issue on SAR tomorrow as we didn't quite make the sell out we hoped for against Bristol. Unfortunately Eric felt unwell before kivk off, possibly heatstroke, so was unable to sell on Ellerslie Rd. If there is anyone in Ellerslie going tomorrow who wants a copy, let me know in the next couple of hours and I will hold one for you. |
