Only 17 you know, but I think they try not to draw attention to the fact

National League Conundrum ?

Watched the second half of the Wealdstone game and then the final few minutes of D&R at Solihull. They missed 3 really good chances in injury time to pinch the win. Total lack of composure in front of goal.

You seem to be suggesting that journalism and some bloke posting on a message board out of the blue at a time when a wedge is being driven between supporters is one and the same thing. It isn’t.

Congratulations! My daughter turned 17 last week, took a while for her to get the bug but she’s off to Sunderland without me on Saturday!

Until there is either a change in the ownership or a change in the rules to allow the ownership to invest as they see fit in their own club then I am afraid this is our lot. If a manager does well we cannot give him the resources to take it to the next level and someone else inevitably can.

As always, it all boils down to the utter mismanagement of this ownership at the beginning of their tenure. A millstone that will hang round the neck of the club for god knows how long.

The bigger concern for me is getting the next appointment correct. Getting Marti and him being successful (by our very meagre expectations of what successful is for QPR due to the constant mismanagement of the club by its owners) feels like it might have been a fluke!

I know people seem to have this misty eyed romanticism when it comes to football but at the end of the day, playing football or being a coach or manager is a job for these guys. If you aren’t that happy with the working conditions at your job and another company says come and work for me, I’ll double your salary, give you a bonus, nice car etc you’d be on your toes.

No different.

The only people loyal to football clubs 99% of the time are the fans. Players and managers will come and go. I’d rather he stayed but if he doesn’t, he doesn’t.

The king is dead, long live the king.

Don’t want to keep him a prisoner here of our own device.

It’s also not their flag but let’s not let that get in the way of you trying to have a pop at them.

I reckon the club will look to get him a good season long loan like they did for Cooper at Stevenage who has come on leaps and bounds as a result. Bring him back to challenge Nardi for the number 1 shirt, let Walsh develop then when Nardi goes we have two of our own to push each other.

Shame it wasn’t on Kesler-Hayden who spent the first half trying to injure Rangers players to mask his chronic lack of ability.

Bristol City not exactly red hot on the road though. I think we’ve more chance of something from that one than at Oxford tomorrow

QPR’s crawl to conclusion continues with Cardiff bore-draw – Report

He doesn’t have much of a leg on him. Compare him to the Pompey keeper who was launching the ball 70 yards with a mere flick of the leg.

Dembele has had a free ride this season

He’s had one bad injury. He isn’t injury prone. He played almost 50 games last season. Players do unfortunately get injured. He was good before the injury, struggled in a struggling side, got hurt and has come back and failed to find form in a struggling side.

Very good bit on the Patreon about players coming back into a poor side and failing to light it up. Maybe worth a listen.

Have we got a list of who’s next up on the block so we can prepare our attack on him?

Injury hit, on the beach and checked out, QPR soundly beaten – Report
at 11:35 31 Mar 2025

One can only hope and pray that this summers recruitment has caused some lessons to be learned from Master Nourry. Stats based signings alone are way off the mark. Identify by stats by all means but then watch them, watch them, watch them! If anyone had been to see Madsen in the flesh surely to go they’d have given him a wide berth.

Had high hopes for Anderson after the end of last season but that on Saturday was something akin to walking football. Marti ran out of places he could hide him in the end!
