And to quote from their fan Lose The Brum, they lack a bit of leadership, character and suffer from a soft underbelly. Lack of battle-tested Championship nous in the squad probably plays a part, when it comes to away games.
I could understand the negativity if we were playing Brough again or a team fighting for a promotion/play off place or even a team in or near the bottom 3, as we believe we always do badly against those teams, but Birmingham have lost their last 3 and have nothing to play for.
It's not going to be a football feast, but we can definitely get something from this game... |

Come on guys, there's nothing wrong with a bit of unrealistic positivity.
Plus we have Math on our side; Having lost the last 3 we are closer to our next win.

They're just a much better team than us. They haven't battered us, as in chances, shots on goal, Walsh saves, etc and we have had one or two chances although not really clear cut.
But definitely not the tonking that many predicted, so far.
Just think this is a game against one of, if not the best teams in the league, so need to be realistic with our expectations. That's not low standards it's just a reality check.
Keep the at bay at the start of the second half and look to create a few chances as the game continues...
1-1 probably the best we can hope for at this stage, but I just can't lose my schit if we lose to this team. I'll save that for the remaining games of the season... |

Fitness, speed, quality, passing accuracy, movement etc,
They're a Prem team in waiting, 1-0 at HT and a combative performance in the second half is really all we can realistically hope for.
