Everyone thinks we will lose, I think we will lose, we all think we will lose, the whole league thinks we will lose. But here’s the thing. Boro will also be thinking they will win easily and will be complacent. Let’s have a go at them. What have we got to lose? 16th place? |

Agree Clive “Fck it. Why not?” Should be plastered on the walls of our dressing room. Have a crack and see where we end up. I’d rather see us lose a game trying to win it than bore the fans with 0-0 draws. At the end of the day if you win one and lose one you’re a point better off so Fck it. Why not? |

How the hell did we miss out on Mo Toure? I thought we had an eye for Aussie talent? 4 goals in 2 games is impressive. He’s also been good for the national team and will be one to watch at the World Cup this year 😉 |

Yeah, you’re right. Beating Tunisia and Denmark to make the round of 16 and going within a whisker of taking the eventual world champions to extra time was all just a fluke. |

I think the real point about our A-League is not that we have no quality players but that it’s badly run. As for the national team, we made the round of 16 at the 2022 World Cup where we pushed Argentina all the way. Messi named that match as one of their hardest games. Not bad for a nation of only 25 million people.
For the record, Pullella is a left footed ball playing centre back. Very comfortable carrying the ball forward so very much fits the Nourry mould I would think. |

He played mostly as a wide midfielder in Australia but is versatile and often used as a striker. |

Tylon Smith is coming home from the African cup so might be time to see if he’s ready for the first team. He’s got rave reviews at every international level coming through and although he’s still young it might be his time. |
