The Clintons in the Gunwharf Quays shopping centre report a record 27 Fathers Day cards have been sold this year. Asked if this was a positive step forwards that a few more Sk8’s knew who their fathers were the manager said it was far more likely to be an increase in visitors going to see HMS Victory due to the good weather that accounted for the increase 😀 |

And you can add to that, stop putting screeching female commentators on MOTD ruining the highlights. Can’t stand them. |

OBOE for Russell Martin surely?? You can play them sideways… |

You couldn’t write a script for it! Wouldn’t it be interesting to see Atalanta & Rangers in the same part of the Champions League draw so they play each other home and away and we could see the contrast in styles head to head, the ex-Saints tippy tappy cr@p v the heavy metal football we never saw… |
 | Forum Reply | Rangers Supporters Are Not Enthused By The Appointment Of Russell Martin at 17:56 5 Jun 2025
It’s going to be interesting to say the least! I’m not so sure it will just be a case of waiting for the games against Celtic to get RM found out. On their day I reckon Hibs or Aberdeen could give it a good go, after all, Aberdeen did enough to disrupt Celtic sufficiently in the SFA Cup Final to take it to Pens. Granted, I can’t see the likes of Kilmarnock or Motherwell coping but I think the 3rd & 4th placed teams might well be able to disprupt the tippy tappy cr@p and get a result. Love the comment from the Rangers fan saying he’ll need airlifting out by the SAS if things don’t go well 😀 |

Agreed, excellent work by Ukraine, here’s hoping PZ has a few more tricks like this up his sleeve. You can bet your life Puketin & Trump will be droning on about it for ages…. |

Seconded Why don’t we all just put the Sk8 on ignore and consign it to the UI sewers that run deep in the digital ether below the website. I have done this and it makes all of its comments disappear along with any threads it starts. The only time I get to see anything (as now) is if I log into UI on a different device as the site logs you off of the first device so when you access the site again on the first device you are not logged in. As soon as I log back in on the first device all of its cr@p just disappears again. Makes the site a much better place without Sk8’s polluting it as I have absolutely zero interest in anything they have to say. |

And it’s underwear, plus just about everything else in its pox ridden life. Such a pity the sum total of its intelligence ran down the inside of its mother’s leg at conception, hey ho, at least she had a fresh packet if wet wipes… |

If a Saudi billionaire was ever stupid enough to be interested in buying the Skates, never mind Sportswashing it would be the skates themselves that need washing, especially that turd-hatted tramp Westwood. |
 | Forum Reply | Russell Martin linked with Leicester job. at 17:33 27 May 2025
For the automatic places I think it could well be a right scramble between Saints, Ipswich, Sheffield United, Birmingham City and possibly Coventry if they strengthen and don’t sell this summer. Wrexham could be dark horses if the film stars spend big although PSR or whatever FFP has now morphed into could bite them on the backside if they are not careful, or is that just me being daft? Would another quickfire promotion be a bridge too far for them? That was a very interesting article in the link to the local Leicester paper, it seems that the Leicester fans have been more vocal about Martin than we were up to the Spurs debacle! On a serious note, if Martin does get the Leicester job, whereas it seemed to take about two thirds of the season for other clubs to suss out Martin’s tactics, Huddersfield being one of the first in what ended up a memorable game with the comeback, this time around the other Championship clubs will be on it from matchday 1. Not only will some remember him from last time but in the much more intense glare of the PL in 24/25 his tactics and utter refusal to budge was laid bare for all to see and highlighted on a weekly basis on MOTD, Sky and many other places besides. Can’t see Russball being allowed to be as successful a second time around. |
 | Forum Reply | Captain Jack at 00:42 27 May 2025
Surely Russ will want to resume their ‘anything he wants’ relationship at Leicester if he gets the job - and maybe Manning as well? Can but hope as I agree, it would be best all round to draw a line under his time at SFC by saying thanks for your service but time to find pastures new… |
 | Forum Reply | Nathan Jones & Charlton at 19:43 26 May 2025
Ah, Charlton, one of the few away fixtures you can get to (in part) by boat! Done it before down the Thames from Waterloo Embankment to Greenwich Pier then cab to the ground. So, it’s QPR by train & tube, Charlton by train & boat and Millwall in an armoured car with Kate Aide riding shotgun 😂 [Post edited 26 May 19:44]

Absolutely right. Trouble is, one of the replacements is the gurning Kelly Cates, ffs!!! No problem with Gabby Logan, part of the Yorath family and a lady that knows her football but Cates, no thanks. My mute button will be worn out! Hopefully Mark Champan will get the lions share of MOTD but with Sky having 210 games next season and 6 teams in the CL I reckon some weeks we willl be lucky to get 4 games on a Saturday, let alone 4 at 3pm KO’s. The new head of BBC Sport wants to ‘update’ MOTD and whilst not sorry to see Lineacre (as Channon used to call him) naff off to Sky or wherever if the idiots in charge at the BBC sh1t wreck MOTD as they do most other things they interfere with that don’t need fixing I can see me just watching the goal highlights on YouTube plus the Saints game on the naff Football Leage highlights show and that’s it. |

Totally agree, if his arm was in a natural position he should be ringing the bells in a cathedral in Paris. Good riddance to a league full of cheating scumbags who look down their noses at the likes of SFC, and then, if you do happen to do well and challenge the cartel for one of their precious European places they simply pilllage your club for all of its top talent. Good riddance to cheats on the field. Diving players, time wasters, injury feigners and members of over actors anonymous like that tramp who plays for Chelsea who had his hair pulled 🤬 Good riddance to biased refs and everything that VAR encapsulates from taking 5 minutes to make a decision, to giving offside by a toenail or a kneecap when 99.75% of the player’s body is level and the LOTG still say level is onside. And good riddance to the Vunts in the VAR booths too. And finally good riddance to the small army of w@@kfest pundits and analysts along with Sky and BT Sport who have Disneyfied the PL and for whom only the top six / seven clubs exist, the bunch of absolute 🤬🤬 Rant over 🙂⚽️🙂 |
