Took my son last year, stayed at the Premier Inn on Talgarth Rd in Hammersmith. New hotel, clean and quiet and an easy walk to the tube and bus station. But, yes literally 1000's of hotels to choose from. I suggest booking the stadium tour in advance. I had trouble getting 2 tickets but the staff in the box office were super helpful. |

Unfortunately the Australian and NZ governments aren't quite corrupt enough to fund the millions in bribes and kickbacks required to win a world cup bid nowadays. |

The A League has improved, to the point where it is now seen as a legitimate league to recruit young players from, and not just for English clubs. Big difference from playing 26 games in 6 months to the grind of the Championship, tho. |
