Disappointed.... yes and a strange team selection
But it looked what is was a tired team that was cobbled together. 3 changes in a defensive 4 is always going to be difficult
SF playing as a 10................and Madsen and Varane look exactly how they should look after playing so many minutes of this season
The only positive is I'm getting to old for all this travelling about, but my nephews went to both games this week......... hats off to them
And we do it all again in 3 days................bloody stupid.
The days have gone where players can play like this, the game is too fast, too physical......there really as to be a rethink about this festive period.
It is going to kill the game when this kind of tripe is being served up |

Not trying to make excuses for this.....but was a fixture really necessary tonight?
Friday we were down at Portsmouth and 3 days later playing in the midlands, while Brom were at home on Friday
Bristol who beat them easily are away to Wall and are losing now after being 1 up
It looks like most of the games tonight were non events, there really needs to be a rethink about these festive fixtures.
Why not just played Boxing Day, New Day and perhaps the 3rd game on the Wednesday after the New Year
This schedule is brutal |

How we have got to half time all square?.............the only real positive for me that we have put out a team of allsorts and we still have all to play for
Not sure if we are still level by our efforts, or the West Brom are so bad...........think it is more they are so bad
Only other real positive was JD............he was head and shoulders above everyone, and is possibly holding that defence together.
What will JS do at HT? Well for me I would be taking Esquadinha off.........possibly Vale or Sam Field to drop back there if he want to rest RND
Bring on Dembele or Burrell, or really left field Kolli.............. |

Reading this with the grandkids having dragged Mr MinT out of bed ... and she is getting the buck fizz and croissants ready for breakfast morning
Middle daughter is trying to keep the boys quiet(ish) not to disturb grumpy Granddad who is lieing in the spare bedroom with a silly smile on his face...
This due to no small.part of reading yet another wonderful dissertation from Clive and am basking in the glow of... another family Christmas... and my team is actually cleverly disguised as a responsible football club

Mrs MinT has bought the grandson (23) some shower stuff which as a fibre cloth thing ... and it comes in a snazzy basket thing...
So I stupidity got that one to wrap... after 6 goes, several sheets later.. and nearly half a roll of cellotape... it looks like the dog has had a 20 minute go at it...
So conceded defeat and Mrs MinT as taken over... get me to strip down a mark II escort gear box.. doodle.... but wrapping a non square .... you are having a laugh |

As you said we most likely never know what happened but I think there was a lot more angst at this club with him here... as Madsen alluded too
I thought the ref was poor to be honest and Mavididi should have been booked well before he was.
But that was my grandson first game this season and what a great one for him... |
