And who was the ‘reliable person’ who knows the confidential details of a player’s contract offer then? Could it be the person based in Sweden who claims on here to know a lot of what players’ wages are? 🤔 |

Or they could just watch our previous first team games to see what set pieces we use (which every team does). Difficult to find negatives with this: anyone who has watched our attacking set pieces for the last few years can tell we need to improve drastically in this area, especially as they mostly involve failing to clear the first man when trying to knock it into Jimmy Dunne who probably won’t be here next season. |

The Sun’s exact quote is ambiguous as to what Cifuentes wanted: just states QPR ‘chiefs’ refused to allow Nourry to appoint one. Could be Cifuentes didn’t want one whereas Nourry did but was overruled, could mean Cifuentes AND Nourry wanted one and were overruled. Current situation probably suggests the former but who knows. “QPR chiefs also vetoed a move from 27-year-old Nourry to appoint a set-piece coach earlier this season” |

The rush for Cifuentes is that there are a lot of vacancies around at present and every club will want to have their new man in place early in the summer so they get a full preseason with them. |

He might be out of contract with Newcastle this summer? No way is he going to get in their first team although apparently they paid £3m for him from West Ham. Be happy to have him for next season either on another loan or free transfer. |

Interesting you should mention lassel. The guy literally appears for the first time on the thread announcing Cifuentes a year and a half ago, claims to be a long standing supporter of QPR living in Sweden whose missus happens to be an executive at Hammarby….. No sign of him on here before then. Since then he has spent the whole time banging the Marti drum and spouting a tidal wave of QPR in the know information as well, a lot of which should be confidential. He has also been a leading component of pushing an anti Nourry agenda as well. Now if we take his back story as genuine then how the hell would he know so much about the inner workings of QPR? And even if some of what he posts is true then who is telling him? Based on when he appeared on here and his alleged background it would have to be Cifuentes….. There are Machiavellian agendas at play and they are sure as hell not just from one side. |

The only club I’ve read about announcing players leaving at the end of the season has been Norwich so far. Anyone read of any others? |

A number of people have raised the question and he’s not answered. Do we all need to ask the same question to him on this thread to post on it? I don’t believe he has any inside knowledge just as I don’t believe the likes of lassel when he posts his intimate knowledge of all things Marti Cifuentes. |

Really? Where have I accepted what he’s said as fact? Just pointing out the hypocrisy on this thread. |
 | Forum Reply | Season perspectives at 16:28 4 May 2025
Well as with virtually EVERY ‘in the know’ poster on here they have been asked earlier in this thread what their sources are and have avoided answering. Which probably means it’s just an opinion phrased as fact. |
 | Forum Reply | Season perspectives at 14:55 4 May 2025
There have been new posters appearing this season to push an anti Nourry agenda as well though. |

This thread is hilarious: all the faux outrage about a post on a football forum daring to dig out Cifuentes and demanding the source of the guy’s alleged inside knowledge even though he has stated he has none. And yet there are posters on here who frequently dig out Nourry and do claim inside knowledge of the inner (sometimes confidential) workings of QPR and get a bit upset if challenged on it and asked to name sources. Seem to be pushing a pro Cifuentes agenda to me. The odds are Cifuentes is done: we need to move on. Nobody (including Cifuentes and Nourry) are bigger than the club. |

We’ll see: I remember Begovic posting an end of last season message that definitely hinted he expected to be here next season and he was wrong. |
 | Forum Reply | Season perspectives at 08:46 4 May 2025
Having no true connection to the club doesn’t stop remarkably detailed accounts of everything QPR related being posted as facts on here, especially if they are anti Nourry. |
 | Forum Reply | Sunderland Match Thread at 16:46 3 May 2025
I’d sign him as well as long as it’s free/low fee and affordable wages. He has definitely improved since getting back in the team. He was very good today. |
