The likes of you and him think your gatekeeping really makes you ‘proper supporters’ compared to us Normies. Your ‘pronouncements’ always increase during a bad run on the pitch. Most of us can think for ourselves and form our own opinions thanks 👍
Yes he’s probably not Championship standard yet: should be ok for fourth choice centre back on the bench though. Not sure any of us are experts on South African football and would suggest you are belittling the fact he was called up for their national team for a major tournament.
All those seem to be a big over reaction to what will be another mid table season. Fair enough if we were marooned at the bottom of the table but we’re not.
The injury and fitness situations need to be properly addressed at the end of the season and the fanbase need to be kept fully informed on what actions are being taken to prevent a third decimated season in a row. That would be a great start to keeping the supporters onside.
Well he’s been called into the full South Africa squad and is rated as one of their best young players. And he’s 20 years old with 10 minutes experience out of position for us: I’d probably be prepared to give him a chance before writing him off eh?
There’s loads of his QPR posts still on his X page.
Think he’s been told he’s not getting another contract and we will be playing the other lads which is fair enough in as much it gives him plenty of time to get another club for next season but I will be sorry to see him go as he’s been one of our best signings in recent years.
As stated it’s pointless him being on the bench if he’s not going to play as we have JCS and Smith there already.
The logical reason not to play him is we now have four fit centre backs: Dunne starts as he’s captain, we’ve spent a lot of money on Edwards, JCS now fit (at the moment). Personally I’d play Dunne and Cook to stop as many goals flying in but others would put a case for Edwards and JCS: centre back is the main position we actually have options in.
We were awful again today. Middlesbrough were a decent Championship team but hardly world beaters but we allowed them to play us off the park with no resistance or aggression. Our lack of ability to pass 6 yards or forward successfully meant we created so little. Stodging up the midfield with Varane, Hayden and Morgan didn’t work at all: all three were terrible. Stéphan needs to get the formerly injured players back on the pitch asap as the squad he is left with at the moment aren’t going to get him any results I’m afraid.
Don’t be so ridiculous: he’d have been hung out to dry if we’d lost games by resting our best players. The injuries and lack of fitness are not down to Stéphan.
Predictable so far: they are a slightly above average Championship team who have players looking to make quick forward passes, we have absolutely nobody in the team able to do that. Depressing stuff.
I would think most of them do and would’ve ignored it as the idea of Spurs being relegated would’ve seemed so ridiculous. Most of the players are probably instructing the agents to get a move lined up by now anyhow…..
Brave effort from (most) of the batters but the bowlers and fielding had left us with an impossible task really: the equivalent of being 5-0 down at half time.
For a consistently lower mid table team like us it definitely benefits us. For a recently relegated team expected to challenge at the top it makes it harder for them if they miss the top 2 and that’s a good thing.
