I was at that one with my brother who is, shockingly, a Chelsea fan. I wanted to leave at half time but he made me stay. Absolute scenes when Micklewhite equalised |

One of your very best Clive, and that is saying something. I've read it 3 times already and will do so again. So many great lines in there, and a nice nod to the Chili Peppers I believe. It's worth it isn't it? All the sh*te we have to suffer? It's worth it for nights like this. The last two lines, worthy of the great Sid Waddell himself. An absolute belter of a report. Thank you |

absolutely - although he had a bit of time, that was a magnificent ball across the field. Don't know the stats but it seemed to me that most of his passes were forward today - imagine saying that this time last year! His redemption arc is great to see - looks like he belongs in that midfield now [Post edited 6 Dec 20:25]

Happy memories reading this. I was there and remember it well. (Can't remember what I did yesterday mind). Me and my mates were near the back of the North Bank but after the goal I found myself right at the front. One of the best surges ever. I also remember how well Bob Hazell played - Big Cyrille was a great player and Bob practically marked him out of the game. I agree re: Tony Currie - a Rolls Royce of a player. I was there when he did his knee in a pre-season at Wimbledon. He was sadly never the same player again. Would've been one of the all time QPR greats but for injury. Anyway, this has got me excited for tomorrow. Yeah, I know, I should know better at this age..... |

Also, I am currently about a third of the way through Inside by Boris Becker. It focuses on his time in prison but very cleverly weaves in historical stuff from his tennis career and personal life. Really enjoying it so far |

Seven Deadly Sins - My Pursuit of Lance Armstrong by David Walsh is also a very good read for those interested in such things |

I'll be there with a few mates. Original plan was to go in and out over 24 hours but somehow we've managed to book a flight to Naples, spending 3 nights there, then train up to Rome, 2 nights and back home. That will be all the away 6 Nations venues done for me and my crowd. Bucket list includes a tour round all of the Scottish Islands visiting every distillery and sampling their wares. | Forum Thread | LFW running slow? at 15:32 1 Dec 2025
Hi, Anyone else having issues with the site? Noticed it running slowly over the last couple of weeks. Some pages taking over a minute to load. I'm running Chrome on a Macbook, with a superfast (>1Gb) broadband pipe hardwired into the Mac. I have cleared the cache, and it is only LFW that seems to be affected. Anyone else having problems? Any smart tech wizards out there with sage advice for me? Cheers |

A lot of people seemingly upset on here at this news but we'll always have Bobby Z in 89 to remind us of how great this club can be |
 | Forum Reply | TICKET PRICES IN FAMILY STAND at 08:28 14 Nov 2025
Yeah I suppose that’s correct. Anyway, fair play to the box Office staff - they responded quickly and pointed to an error as the family packages were not showing for the Cov game. That’s now been corrected and they’ve refunded the difference and waived the booking fee. Can’t say fairer than that. I must say that in my limited dealings with the box office they’ve always been really good |
 | Forum Thread | TICKET PRICES IN FAMILY STAND at 15:29 13 Nov 2025
Did I miss an announcement about this? Just been on the website to buy for the Coventry game and the options to buy for families have changed and prices gone up. It's now a tenner more for me and my daughter to go than it has been all season. Anyone know anything about this? It's a bit poor just to lump up the prices with no notification. But, did I miss something? |

this is the point I was trying to make, but you have done it so much better. Those baby on board stickers are pointless in my opinion |

leaving after conceding a piss weak 4th at home does not mean you don't want to watch QPR. It means, in all likelihood, that you've had enough on that partcular occasion and other options look more attractive. I'll be back again for Hull. And if we go 4 or 5 down I'll most likely leave early. |

Neither actually. What really happened was this: I thought the baby comment was a bit odd so my reply to that was supposed to be funny/light hearted. My second post/reply was actually intended to be at the OP, but as it was late at night, and I did indeed leave on 65 minutes and then spent several hours in the pub, I was a little worse for waer, posting on my phone without my glasses, and replied to my baby note instead of to the OP. I stand by the intent, the OP is one of the most ludicrous I've seen on here. People have a right to leave whenever they want, and if like yesterday they are being served up a load of slop on the pitch, I don't find it at all surprising. True, it wasn't a weeknight, and nor did I need to get home. But I did want to get to the pub and I'm glad I did |

One of the most ridiculous/pathetic posts I’ve seem on here. What are you, 10? Have a word with yourself |
