How can folk see conspiracy in this? It amazes me how we look for the negatives in everything Rangers. Has anyone thought that maybe, just .maybe Cook has himself agreed its sensible to have a younger and more durable captain. Theres no extra money in captaincy so hardly a demotion. |

Can't make it but can someone ask for me Water pressure in Elletslie Road stand Can we dig down to extend stadium Can we have bigger flags for the singers in standing section. When are we getting rid of the old b..tards ( like me) who come to watch the football and support the team without singing daft songs. When will the owners invest some real money ( we dont believe they put in £2m a month to keep us afloat.) Think that covers half the meeting and should give them an easy ride.😁😁 |

When I renewed I moved from my seat to my brothers ( a row back) it was done at the time and my receipt shows all the details. Just need to get the plastic card for entry sorted though they said to nudge them 2 weeks ahead of season ie when the phone one arrives. |

 | Forum Reply | Come back Southgate... at 18:25 11 Jun 2025
I'm ready to have my head chopped off but here goes.... The days of a lumpy centre forward are gone and Kane, fir a his good goals in the past, is now holding the team back. When Eze was joined by Gibbs White and Taylir we had dime pace going forward and shoukd gave scored a couple. Kane is a bit one dimentional and slow these days, and how many top international teams have a centre forward, they tend to be more mobile and tidy on the ball. The other issue for me is too often our first ball is backwards to a back 4 who then roll it around at the back with no drive forward. Only an opinion. |
 | Forum Reply | Is it time to admit that Ultras are the way forward? at 06:57 18 May 2025
I know a number of Palace fans who were dreading being stuck in the middle of their 'ultras' at wembley. After 60 odd years of supporting they simply wanted to go and WATCH the match and support their team. Not spend the game unable to watch etc. It's not like a normal home game where you know the folk around you and can choose not to sit in an ultras area. |

Was at that game, on holiday at the in laws in Northumberland .Coldest I've ever been in a football stadium. When the rs supporters coaches turned up we wondered if some of them thought they were going to the real stadium of light in Portugal, with just their t shirts on. |

Bit early to scapegoat Noury. None of us actually know what has happened but earlier in the week it seemed that MC was being touted around by his agent. So is this like when Leicester were sniffing after Holloway? Wouldnt think Noury daft enough to take this action without good reason when season tkts are up for renewal. Finally some are quoting Marti as a great manager, so far he's been pretty good. Stock, Sexton and Venables were great. |

I think we learned that Yang has no Ying Kohli is not as good as his dad thinks he is And Marti doesnt have a plan B. Hopefully next year we give kelman a decent chance and maybe play him up front with Frey or Celar. |

Memories of square it Tommy with Kohli late on. The lad has promise but a top player roles it to Smith |

Yeh it was poor but no where near the top 50 poor games I've attended in the last 65 years |

Miles Coverdale until 1967 then Clement Danes until 1971. Plenty if Rs fans at both. |

It would be great shame if Jimmy went. BUT if he is not going to sign a contract with us then unfortunately we have little choice but to take the money on offer and let him go. The club have previously been lambasted on here for not taking a fee and letting a player walk away for nothing 6 months later so I think we should reluctantly thank him for his services and let him go. Incidentally this time last year this board was calling for him to be sold on, thrown out etc. He then scored the wonder goal and his popularity suddenly grew. Personally I think he was playing well before that and was the subject of some pretty unfair stuff on here. Love you to sign and stay Jimmy but wish you well if you want to move on. |

I take the points in responses and apologise if my opening comment came over wrong. I suppose it was more about the doom mongers who thought post Leicester we were gonna lose these two away games. Anyway apologies again. |

Hopefully those who said we'd blown it will post apologies to the team and manager tonight. |

Was a life member of the Hammersmith ( kent house) club until I moved away and changes were made to the club and life memberships were cancelled. But having been brought up in the club from birth, played football for them for nearly 20 years and drank there 3 or 4 nights a week loved the place. My dad and his brothers were life members as were my cousins and brother. We loved the place. Great nights with the football team and one memory was as part of Dave Clements testimonial year the club hosted a 'gentleman's smoking evening' which was attended by most of the team and management. It was the year Villa beat us in the semi final replay at Highbury. Bowles and I had a little disagreement when a drunken me asked Stan to get a couple in the replay as my missus had never been to Wembley . He gave me a fiver and said there was a dog meeting on saturday! Looking back it was quite funny but at the time I saw red and stan and I swapped blows, then ended up later in the evening in the river bar having a beer together . Loved that club. |
