RIP Joe! |

It was 0-1 to Southampton when he had to go off, so 4 against that game, 2 against SU and 4 again today. 10 in total. For me Madsen was doing a huge job holding us together in midfield and we don't have 1 player that can cover him, though we have had tough opposition. I thought Cook made some bad mistakes in his last game, Agree Edwards hasn't showed his form from last winter. |

Looks to me like they are continuing to use VAR in Norway's top flight League in the soon to start 2026 season The Clubs in the top 2 divisions voted to scrap it, but a vote that included grassroot Clubs (where it's not used) voted overwhelmingly to keep it. The Norwegian Football association got what they wanted. |

Would be great. Our mighty midgets will be worth billions. |

I agree with most of that. As you say we had Madsen playing at Hull. The hole left after his injury both offensively and defensively is huge and of course made worse by all our other injuries. Stefan appears to have tried to replace him with Morgan, but apart from a couple of decent passes and a bit of temper at the end he was mostly invisible against SU. The changes Stefan made 2nd half especially to 3 CB's seemed to help a little and if he can use Dunne, Cook and JCS at CB, MBengue and RND as the wingbacks, and all of Varane (if fit) Hayden and Edwards in the midfield, this should shore us up at least for Boro. |

According to Sinton and the limited QPR+ view we didn't go to a back 3 until the 2nd half with Smyth and Vale the wingback. |
 | Forum Reply | Three game week - the modern excuse at 16:11 1 Mar 2026
Tyler or Sinton said SU made 6 changes for our game with the likes of Hamer and the diver striker able to come on as Subs. With a squad like that 3 game weeks aren't going to be much of a problem especially when they play SW and injury decimated QPR. |

We beat Charlton at home with Esquerdinha's flick on assisting Kone's goal. He came on as a sub with the score 1-1 and we won 3-1. |

It was a terrible pass by Varane for their 2nd goal. But when for most of the game Morgan didn't appear to be on the pitch when viewing on QPR+, and the early match stats confirming we had only 30% possession, Varane prioritising keep ball was mostly the right call and helped us not get totally overwhemed by SU. I guess he was subbed to reduce the chances of a recurrence of his recent injury. |
 | Forum Reply | Will Chair be back to his injury free best? at 04:13 28 Feb 2026
Watching on QPR+ it looked like he pulled up like he'd strained or pulled a muscle while trying to get space away from defenders on the edge of their penalty area. He seemed like he tried to run it off (perhaps not too smart a move) and got back to the edge of our penalty area trying to defend, where he stopped again and limped off. Looked all to normal for our players this season to me |
 | Forum Reply | So ..... team for Saturday ? at 05:30 27 Feb 2026
I wouldn't be starting Morgan because he'd most probably pass the ball more to SU players than our own, including in particular in our own half. I wouldn't start Walsh either, Hamer for his competence with crosses for this game though normally I think we should be using Nardi. The suggestions of going 3 / 5 at the back on another thread make sense to me so: Hamer M'Bengue, Dunne, Edwards or JCS, Cook, Esquardinha Vale, Varanne, Haden or Saito Kone, Benny |
 | Forum Reply | Should we recall Celar, Field, or Lloyd? at 05:06 27 Feb 2026
I suppose then the "etc" after goalkeepers doesn't include any midfield player no longer registered with any Club we may feel we need in our current ehhh "emergency". |

Cheers! That was my 1st game at the Rangers, at least that I remember. What I didn't remember until I saw that was Hollins going off with a hamstring injury. Should have been warned!. |
 | Forum Reply | Walsh at 04:32 25 Feb 2026
When Nardi got back in for 2 or 3 games he seemed to do well, including doing better coming out of his box and even penalty area to collect balls. Then suddenly he was teft out again. I think he's the best of the 3 Keepers we've played this season and would be saving some of the efforts Walsh and Hamer concede. |
