"Well my predictions that Dunne was always going to sign proved 100% correct" What's the lottery numbers for tonight? Because fair play |

I don't think it'd be a bad thing to strengthen in wide areas tbf, especially if we don't keep Saito on. Just not another 10! |

Yeah you might have a point with that. With the news Stephan was in London the other day it could be all but done internally. Hopefully that would mean we can get a bit more movement with contracts and incomings |

Could've been weeks ago, could've been as soon as Wilder got the boot. Who cares, it's done. Thank f*ck |

That would be funny but the POTS award in the back gives it away. We might have our man [Post edited 18 Jun 13:49]

Of course, I was pretty much saying this in my response to Steve. Xavi will follow Marti although I hope Betsy is kept around in some facility. Was impressed with his interviews and conduct for the Sunderland game |

Would depend on what Julien Stephan wants I'd say. The reason we lost John Eustace was because Snake Beal wanted his own backroom staff |

Admittedly weird we haven't heard of any other clubs' interest, but yeah all we know is that Wilder has been pretty keen. Whilst he's obviously been really important to us, I do wonder about how other clubs view his stock. A 6ft 3 or 4 center back turned right back is an unusual one. Sheffield United signing Rob Holding in response to the deal collapsing in January shows to me they were planning on using him at centre-back rather than utilising the Irish Cafu which we know |

Ah the McNamara saga, they say we've just lodged a 7th improved bid... "unless its done and dusted, signed, sealed and delivered, I believe nothing." Fully understand with the shite that gets spewed, but then again I'm not sure you'll have the best time in a "rumours" thread like this one! |

"that each of us read situations differently." Yeah that's pretty much it. Ultimately that's what the lack of information is causing, we will all have different reads and I understand that |

I'm not understanding this response or even what else there is to discuss. Which part was vague? It was based on numpty's below comment about 3 posts above. "The moral of the story there could be smoke but often no fire...." I'm just saying that's where me and him would disagree with this situation. I'm going off QPR, Sheffield United, independent journalists. I don't believe each of these parties are pulling in the same direction as part of some Nourry psyop. |

You're good Brian It probably just goes with how you see the smoke, as numptydumpty mentioned 12 days until contracts are up, we will soon find out, right? |

Well that is just the world of misinformation online today, if you chose not to believe the Uzbek trialist rumour because you don't know the Uzbek source then fair enough. Maybe you might find me naive but I think this situation has had enough coverage to the point that I can make the assumptions in my previous post. Heck even qpr.co.uk has said discussions are ongoing but I understand this might be chucked into the misinformation circle also |

There have been a lot of reports for Wilder's interest in Dunne from January up until even two days ago. With that amount of reporting (and words from the man himself) there is often truth. Why would they keep talking about Dunne to Sheffield United if a contract was signed months ago? It's also rumoured that part of the reason for Wilder's sacking is that there were disagreements over the transfer strategy. Wilder wanted Championship proven players (Dunne, Mepham, McBurnie) but the club was prioritizing foreign recruitment. With Wilder gone it's safe to assume they would drop the interest nor have we heard about any other club. Hence perhaps his only option now is to return. With the small amount of information I'm just making a prediction, there's no certainty about anything so of course I'm not 100% and I don't think should you expect that. I'd rather attempt to go off what is public than keep going over the same baseless conspiracies |
