Great article and well done on bringing some balance to the discussion. I do find it embarrassing that our cup record is so bad and also that we disregard it so badly that we would be better off opting out of it.
I also have to slightly criticise the manager here as it’s been laid out above that we needed perhaps 2 senior players to help babysit this one through at a minimum. If we had done that we would have taken the win - got a good feeling going into next week, our manager would have his first win and our kids would have learnt something
Now we are in a position of lose the next 3-4 games and manager is already under pressure. Sad but true
Anyway let’s move onto next week and try and hope to secure another draw and hopefully a third quartile finish in this division ‘for the plan’. Jeez my Sunday morning team had more ambition….
Unfortunately it’s absolutely needed. Stadiums can’t even let home and away fans sit together or alcohol infront of the game because football has a large number of plonkers that can’t control Themselves. Sad really as 95% of fans just want to enjoy the game!
And yes it probably is around 5% of fans who want to somehow attack other fans because they were born in a slightly different area… or indeed just chose a different club
It’s a friendly so don’t want to blow it out of proportion but would be nice to see a striker on for at least 20 mins please manager!
With celar - I wouldn’t miss the birth of my child for anything so I can understand his stance. Most posts here are tongue in cheek I’m sure but can’t cristisce him for That one
