I've always seen Gardening Leave as being suspended on full pay.It sometimes suits one or both parties to continue it for months on end although it wont in this case.Bringing this one to a conclusion will be the tricky part.
A good afternoon at Wealdstone yesterday. The biggest cheer of the day was when the news came through on people's phones that Solihull had equalised against Dagenham which meant that Wealdstone would stay up. There were quite a few Rangers fans there and it was good to see so many people thrilled to see them stay up especially younger people.Halifax are in the play offs though and i was not sure of their commitment to be honest.

The gap between even the 4th bottom club in the premier league and the top clubs in the championship is now huge which makes Plymouth beating Liverpool in the FA cup all the more remarkable.
A step too far into violent savagery for me.I have watched it a few times but only for a minute or so until i have to switch it off in near horror to be honest. An interesting thread though.I can live with Boxing but not a huge fan.
If the game is not sold out you can still buy tickets on the day at the kiosk by the South Africa Road stand if your on the data base which you would be.
If Pompey stay up they will have a rare Derby to look forward to.The first league one for years i think.Which raises the question when will we have a West London derby again.
Antony Beevor books on Stalingrad and the Russian Revolution/Civil War i found very unsettling. How millions of ordinary people went through such terrible times is hard to imagine.
Great news about Dave i've just got back from watching Wealdstone lose to Aldershot and Stewart Pearce was there looking very well after his health scare.
