Wouldn't be lovely for one of our players to actually stand up and lead from the front. Go and smash someone , take a booking but let the opposition know they're in a game. Never seen a squad full of such meek characters.

All true. I'm at the stage now where if we closed the doors and started up as Athletic QPR at the bottom of non league I wouldn't care. Absolute shambles. |

I loved the second but I'd hardly call the first a quality strike. Seemed to slice it when he was trying to put his foot through it. I maybe being harsh though.
In regards to Aussies there's about 30 players I'd have signed before Adamson.
Not blowing my own trumpet but I called Riley Mcgree when he was at Adelaide and Aaron Mooy when he was at Western Sydney. |

So many good posts on here. I'm really adding to what's already been said.
This mentality that we can't compete 11 v 11 against relegated teams really irks me.
Just go and complete. We know when we were in that position that a lot of our players didn't fancy and I'm sure it's the same for these newly relegated teams.
The 3 game week thing is ridiculous now too. It's been a part of English football forever. Just play what's in front of you each game. The way we compete in some games it's pretty obvious that the powers that be have made it known that we can take our foot off of the pedal. It's no longer the sport I grew up with. |

Who knows anymore. I MO though that if he's not being picked to accommodate Edwards we have to be fine with it. We cant spend 4.5 million on a young player and keep him on the bench for a mid 30's CB who leaves in 3 months. |

I don't like the tone of this interview. Seems like he's reading from a script. It also seems to me that the club are willing to completely sacrifice 1 of the fixtures in a 3 game week. They decided this was the tough one and sack it off. |

I'm not sure yet again how we're supposed to move players on? No one is taking Saito off of us unless we take a huge hit. Varane and Kolli would get a fee.

We don't do ourselves any favours with our mentality. Our let's draw away and win at home creed is ridiculous. Just try and beat what's in front of you that week.
We've played a lot of the bottom sides away recently and been scared. Not how sport works if you want to progress. |
