Well Larkeche is ours and has had a decent season at Dundee. Vale (when fit) can play LB it seems, but maybe preferred higher up the pitch. Esquerdinho may move up front the Dev Squad. Admittedly Fox may depart, but that's 4 possibles. If he does go, I'd look to bring in another. Right Back is more of a concern for me with Dunne likely to leave and Ashby returning from his loan. |

QPR fan though, so I like her. And I’ll Do the Do with her anytime she likes. |

I thought we were good for first 25 mins of the 1st half and 20 mins of 2nd half. We tired after then in both halves. Kolli should have passed to Smyth, but he’s a striker and they tend to back themselves to be best placed to score. In hindsight, pass and look to get in place for a return pass and flick it home. Biggest surprise for me was how Brizzle lacked the ambition and urgency to go for the 3 points. They were 5th, in the playoffs and one of the firm teams in the division against a struggling injury hit side, with no real threat up front and they just passed it around hoping something might happen. So many chances to shoot, but always went for another pass. |

Just glad to hear he’s making progress, however slow, and to think he’s contemplating Burnley is great. |

Concern for me is next 2 games are crucial. We need points from them. With no players due back from i jury in the next week, it’s gonna be tough. |

For Crystal Palace, Notts Forest, Aston Villa and (hopefully) Bournemouth to be in the FA Cup Semi Finals and 2 of those, in the Final would be Most refreshing and make all 3 games Very watchable. IMO. |

They played a warm up show at the 100 Club last Friday night as the SPOTS (if you know, you know). That was the cool one to get to, capacity just 350. Plus they are touring later this year….. so still time to catch them again. |

I do, and the source is Lee ‘Heinz’ Hoos - We get bonus £M’s if Eze plays for England. which became if Eze plays for England 1st team. which became if Eze starts an England 1st team game. which became if Eze starts a ‘proper’ England 1st team game (Not a friendly). which will eventually be forgotten about once Palace finally sell him aged 38 for a loss….. We can but hope. |

Was there Thursday. Greg, drummer from B.A.D. (& Dreadzone) was there. Great exhibition, small but free. I’ve seen Mick at games since covid, but he’s taken a back step musically. Virtually retired from playing, maybe producing a bit. Good luck to him and all that sailed….. |

Thanks for that, sounds positive. If you don’t mind, I’ll continue this via a PM to save boring others on here….. |

I take it you’ve booked a full tour package which includes match tickets ? I’m there for Adelaide & Melbourne, but have booked flights & accommodation seperately, so need to find a way of getting match tickets for those 2 tests. Apparently only available tgrough Cricket Australia, unless you know otherwise….? |

Thanks. Doing Ashes later this year. I’ll swerve PE in favour of Galle instead at some point. |

Pigalle was our favourite restaurant, but the V&A is full of great eateries. But word of mouth in our hotel receptions led us to both Mama Africa and Nelson's Eye in downtown area. The latter was amazing and probably the best steak I've ever eaten. I'm tempted to visit Port Elizabeth should it be selected for a Test match. Anyone, been there ? What's it like ? |

The Two Oceans restaurant at Cape Point is Very good too. Not your average tourist trap cafe. Proper restaurant with great food and stunning views. You’ll probably need to book ahead to avoid a lengthy queue. |

Did the Cape Town test 2015/16, when Stokes & Bairstow smashed 196 in the morning session alone ! Spent 2 weeks there, brilliant city. Had an apartment in the V&A harbour area. Safe and lively. Downtown was nice too but as mentioned above, remove jewellery, watches, etc. Table Mountain a must, as is Camps Bay, Hout Bay, Simon’s Town, Boulder Beach (penguins), Cape Point/ of Good Hope. Amazing restaurants, great food, relatively well priced. If you want to pm me, I’ll provide a list of the best ones we went to (assuming they still there….) Go for it. |

Firstly, a great songwriting partnership with a great back catalogue that changed musical/pop history. However, 1st to Last album ‘63 - ‘70, Final Live performance at Candlestick Park in San Fransisco was on 29th August 1966 which lasted just 33 minutes for 11 songs. Hardly VFM. After which, Albums which followed and were never played live - Revolver, Sgt Peppers, Magical Mystery Tour, White Album, Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road, Let It Be. Singles (likewise as a group) - Paperback Writer, Yellow Submarine, Eleanor Rigby, Strawberry Fields Forever, Penny Lane, All You Need Is Love, Hello Goodbye, I Am The Walrus, Magical Mystery Tour, Lady Madonna, Hey Jude, Revolution, ObLaDi ObLaDa, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Get Back, Ballad Of John & Yoko, Come Together, Let It Be, The Long And Winding Road. There’s plenty of others, whatever your views and favourites. I guess I’m saying, they were great, but not above all else, they had flaws and over the next 60 years, we’ve moved on. |

It seems to suggest Hoos is still involved at the Club, even if from a distance. Is that the case ? I thought he’d left for pastures new….. |
