Btw, "project" is just a form of gaslighting (hate to use that word) for anyone who wants to complain about why somehow did/didnt get selected, why we chucked in the towel in a league cup game, why we sold a player or lost a match, the response is always that its part of a project. we lowly fans clearly dont get it b/c we're fixated on the short term, while the brilliant men running the club have a longer term vision we dont have the patience to see mind, when we have any short term success, youll be sure the usual suspects will be out doing interviews, going on podcasts, etc trying to lap up the glory when things go wrong in the short term, its "trust the process" |

clive, its so true i went to the game on saturday without knowing who was in the team and vaguely knew we had signed poku and the new cb (but didnt know who was who or what positions they played). i didnt know that paal had left and asked the guy next to me whether lucas andreson was still in the squad. i left the game being kind of indifferent to the result- whereas i used to care, im so numb to the results- i go b/c of routine, but not b/c i really care. if theres any little thing that gives me an excuse to miss a home game, i will usually miss it, which was not the case even three or four years ago there is a feeling of helplessness that comes b/c at least with a bad manager, you know the results will catch up to them and theyre always reasonably close to getting the sack. in this case, our issues are our incompetent nepo baby owner, and his appointment of a narcissistic kid whose treating our club as his personal fiefdom. the owner seems to be going nowhere despite bleeding money each year, while the ceo also seems untouchable after somehow winning his personal struggle with cifuentes as for yesterdays result- i am one who overreacted to the result. in fact, this is the most ive felt about a specific game in probably 12 months... i think whether this is stephan or nourrys decision- they clearly didnt account for the fact that if this was in isolation, we mightve been able to stomach us totally throwing the game with a bench with cumulaive 0 efl appearances and a handful of debutants. but we've endured years of pain going back to the beale fiasco, to hiring ainsworth, to struggling to stay up in martis first season, to the first half of last season. during that, we've had no cup runs, seen us squander millions on wastes of space like celar/madsen and somehow sacked the best manager we had at the club since warnock during that time, somehow the fan base has not turned on the club and has taken it in their hands and gotten behind the team way more than in the previous decade so yes, if we were liverpool coming off a league title or palace winning the fa cup or even flipping coventry city after a few solid seasons, then perhaps this wouldve been easier to stomach. but stephan isnt coming to a club with a fresh slate- he has to inherit the baggage the fans bring from a decade of finishes at or around 16th... and the attitude towards ystds game was just another f u to the fanbase |

If you want to know anything abt Christian nourru and his character, just see what he said abt marti being responsible for the injuries last season at the fans forum Everyone knows the board backed the wrong person there Yet marti left without saying a word The fact that Nourry continues to slag him off in such a cowardly way tells you the kind of human being he is.. it’s a shame Beale wasn’t manager under him bc they’re too pieces of pond scum cut from the same cloth. The fact that he has anything to do with this team sickens me to me my core and part of me roots ifor us to fail to see this huckster out of a job Only a nepo baby like Ruben could hire such an idiot |

this was such a joke We have injuries, sure But we could have still put out a team w some experience in it. We have 3 more games until the international break, and none of the brutal Saturday Tuesday Saturday games. Why are we treating the second game of the season as if it’s game 47 of the season ? Totally pointless and disrespectful to the fans We’re qpr fans. We don’t get to enjoy many wins. Why not take one here when it was potentially on offer? |

Honestly it’s hard to blame any of these kids Usually when kids get a chance they’re bedded in w senior pros. It’s a bunch of kids w no one to provide leadership etc We’ve set all these kids up to fail, and to their credit, it’s still 2-2, the fans are behind the team and we’ve not done terribly It’s one thing to destroy a kids confidence like zaha and bolasie destroyed furlong in 2015…. But to risk 6,7,8 young kids like this im one go? Mental |

The more I think abt it the more I’m absolutely disgusted by this squad The bench has zero efl appearances on it You’re telling me someone like Steve cook couldn’t even show up and coach these young lads? Even when we’ve played experimental teams, we have some pros around the squad Pathetic |

1-0. Kolli looks like the only outfield player able to play at this standard No knock on vale (who looked good on Saturday) or Burrell (whose got no service) Separately god bless this right back. He is totally out of his depth and I don’t think this is going to progress his development in any way. |
