The question I would like answered is why, during the past few seasons, we go on a good run, climb the table, get around the top six and then put the club in to reverse and slide down the table. Injuries is not the answer. It’s right up there alongside; What is the meaning of life. |

Not saying that he doesn't give the ball away sometimes but as the lone striker he often has two or three defenders on him and often no quick lay off opportunities. |

Kone has shown that he can be a decent finisher but we are not creating the chances for him. Not sure why you are comparing him to Lyndon who missed some wonderful chances during his time here, Richard hasn't even had the opportunities to do that. [Post edited 8 Mar 21:52]

Missing all those chances created for him. Winning headers in the top two thirds of the pitch has been an issue all season. |

Birmingham are two points ahead of us, an average Championship team. I would hope that the club would see this as an opportunity to right some wrongs and attempt to replicate the away result at Hull. Julien has to put some fire in to his players bellies, play for the badge which hopefully won't be pink. |

Vale has potential but was missing for a lot of the game today not helped by being played in a wide position, he did have some good moments. Lots of names being mentioned for poor performances but not many mentions of Hayden, the senior pro out there today. Not scapegoating him but he has disappointed me in most games recently. |

One of the main complaints is that the Boro players will wake up tomorrow, pain free and without bruises. |

There is something. During the brief period we were causing them a few problems Smyth could have come on. Cook on, Edwards in the middle. When the game was obviously lost he could have experimented, played Vale in the centre, done something. As previously discussed he isn't proactive but, eventually, reactive. |

Funnily enough listening to Neil Warnock and Jobi McAnuff talking about our players today showing a lack of fight and passion I remembered Gary Neville accusing our players of the same after a 2-0 defeat at West Ham during the 2014/15 season. He said ; “If you haven’t got players willing to work hard, you’ve got nothing, with the best will in the world, these are goodish players and they have to put a real stint in for their manager. These players have a duty to their manager, a duty to the club and a duty to the supporters to give them more than they’ve given them today.” Frightening really how stagnate we are as a professional football club. |

Well the buck does stop with the senior management. You are spot on about Steve Cook. Really the best thing about today was listening to Neil Warnock. I think many of us would still like him as DOF. If Ben Williams can do his job from Dubai then Neil can do his from Cornwall. About time our shareholders listened to a different voice. |

I mentioned Hayden in the last match thread, VERY disappointing, as you say a senior player. Norwich should have had him. Smythe and Kolli could have come on when were causing them a few problems. As others have said you don't mind losing to Boro but not with another virtually gutless, vanilla performance. Boro players won't have any bruises. |

Brilliant from Ayling I thought. 3-0, all of our defenders standing in a line, plenty of space for Hackney and nobody engages him. Julien's reaction, one substitution. |

I think Mbengue over committed in the first place and lost his man. Walsh was 'on his arse' diving for the shot that never came as the Boro player mishit his shot. |
