Surprised nobody has commented on this?! Edit: nobody had at the time of writingš I didnāt realise we were close to signing a DoF. And now, as seen in many ways in the past, the deal is pulled last minute. Why I wonder? The positive would be that LW is in his way out imminently and that the new manager and DoF may need to work in tandem. If LW is going, thereāll be no more signings so filling the post isnāt quite as urgent, though itās still very important we get one to source players in the close season. Who is Darren Witcoop? Itās difficult to turn that style on on match day when you donāt train footprints it though. If as we are led to believe his training sessions are one dimensional then changing it on match day would be so disjointed wed be all over the place. Yes, I knowš |

You forgot to say āover and over and over againā. |

Serious question: what do you expect them to do? Theyāve invested money but that canāt be spent on what we want because of well documented financial restrictions. We need to get through this season by playing in a way that gives us the best chance of reaching the 50 points (?) required, then reduce our overheads by natural wastage and reinvest what we can in new squad members and manager. Hopefully the latter will be sorted by then but I dare say one of the options the board are weighing up is whether LW can get us to the end of the season above the bottom three. Itās a calculated risk with a high chance of failure in my opinion. |

Maybe not the most popular opinion but I feel sorry for Coleman. He clearly was severely hamstrung when working for K&L and since taking over with his co-investors heās been trying to do the right thing. All with the financial constraints we are well aware of. There is an investment of Ā£20m+ which canāt help us at the moment and may only be enough to stand still. How did it get to this point? Now heās got the āstick it twistā dilemma with LW and although he probably knows what he should do, he knows that he has to bring in better. Now most clubsā hierarchy will always have contingency plans in place. I bet Man City keep a constant eye on managersā availability even though itās unlikely to be an issue. But you never know. Hopefully, Coleman will have a list of managers who are available and who would improve the side. Heās not stupid, inexperienced at this type of ābusinessā maybe but not stupid. Iām sure he will do the best thing for the club and Iāll support him until I have reason not to. |

Iāll take middle championship quality at the moment. We need a coach to get the best out of them to achieve that though. |

If we sack LW and I hope we do, thereāll be no more players this window. |

Yeah, I wonder why that is Lukey?? |

Derby have scored though. |

Sadly so are Cardiff! I just hope there are three worse sides because it seems thatās our only chance of survival. Well that and a new coach. |

Is he doing it deliberately maybe? Get himself sacked, pocket the money. |

Seems Tony Mowbrayās appointment at WBA is paying dividends. |

Surely todayās result and performance is enough?? Surely! š |

It wasnāt meant as a having a go at you, sorry if it came across that way. Youāre right, anyone would be better. I hope they act decisively now and give us a fighting chance whilst there is still time. |

I think we need to be realistic with our wishes. Dyche? Cooper? Not a chance in hell. Nor the others, thankfully in Giggsā case. Letās not start thinking like the Cardiff fans who think their club is the most attractive one in the world to play for or manage. That said, currently thereās no doubt theyāre in a much better place than we are. |
