Strangely I enjoyed that win more than Oxford on Saturday. We would of lost that few weeks ago. We are showing signs that we want to press and though improvements are still needed, I think we're going in the right direction. If we lose on Saturday, then so be it as long as we don't get a thumping and continue to show progress. Considering we had a few days to prepare for this match, Matos without his backroom staff, a team who is rebuilding confidence and the referee was terrible, this win should really be seen as a step forward. Just don't under the good work lads come Saturday.

Great post, exactly how I feel.

We are slowly building, matos has concentrated on the defence and its showing.

As you say as long as we dont get a battering on Saturday and continue to show progress.

I think we may actually look better away from home against the better teams.

Not saying we’ll win, but it’s difficult to play Matos’ type of football against teams that come to play ugly. We looked more organised and threatening in the first half hour at West Brom than we did in either of the games we won this week.

I don’t think it will fall apart Saturday. Even if we lose, I think we’ll have decent spells and something to build on.

I too have a good feeling that we are better prepared for this week than we were against WBA, let's hope we have a bit of luck and score early as I am certain we wont balls it up again.

What was interesting to me was how Oxford and Portsmouth tried to play dirty and we had poor referee in both games. Both teams tried to break up play. It will be interesting on Saturday. Imagine if we get a win and we then go into the Wrexham game even more confidence.

Like you and I said, let's just not get a thumping and show signs of improvement. Will I be gutted if we lose, yes. But as long as we are showing we are progressing that what matters.

It's a far cry from even a few weeks ago. Just don't balls it up now lads and build on the good feeling around the club and increased attendance.
