Ah, what a great night! I can finally put my Malcolm Butler nightmares to bed. Winning a championship with a terrorising defense is the fkin best! |

I hope you're right Mart. Watching Mike Mcdonald develop that defense in just two seasons has been magical. Really hope Emmanwori's ankle has genuinely cleared up as he is such an important part of the scheme, particularly with dealing with the Patriots RB's and TE's on pass plays. We owe them for eleven years ago. Nervous as Fu*k. Go Hawks. |

Agree with all of that Nix. He just seems a bit lacklustre, same when we have the ball, his movements are not particularly dynamic or threatening. Subdued. On top of that his technical level has really dropped. I was watching him closely yesterday, and whilst he may well not be playing in his best position, you still expect the basics of a good first touch and decent decision making (not dribbling down dead ends/straight into touch). He loses the ball a lot at the moment and not because he's trying something risky to open up the defence, just when doing the basics. Whilst I wasn't desperate to resign him, after his second debut I thought 'fair enough' but since then... Some seem to give him pass because he's not called Dembele, and I'm not saying he can't come good, but recently he's been pretty woeful. |

I really hope you're right Clareman. Obviously the Bears are a good team but I guess all the years of Mcvay dominating us still scares me more. Both got great Offenses but the Bears D is weaker. I'd rather play them. |

Too right brother. Watching us smash those ever arrogant Fortywhiners was an absolute joy to be treasured. I still fear the Rams but no doubt we have a real shot at it all. |

Certainly take the point. But how we get better with the ball needs some serious work. Should give props to how well we defended the box. Made for Dunne and Cook that game. [Post edited 17 Jan 17:05]

Kolli really struggling to make himself available for the out ball from deep. Not moving into space for a pass to feet or positioned to get in behind. Still hoping we get one good chance fall to him or Kone. |

I think being wound up is what they do. Remember this is a crowd that got wound up by Aaron Ramsey having the temerity to have his leg broken by Ryan 'not that kind of player' Shawcross. Booed him the rest of his career! |

No, definitely what we used to call a C*nts Tackle back when I was playing. He knew exactly what he was doing with that ridiculously OTT follow through. |

Well, 0-0 is a right touch but bar West Ham all our recent away performances have been really poor. They just don't look like footballers. Touch, movement, cohesion, getting around the pitch, patterns of play, quality of any sort - all missing. Not knocking or blaming them specifically but Madsen and Hayden (like Varane before him) just lack the energy and legs required to give their midfielders any real problems. Their white haired fella, Rigo, is tearing about all over the place doing what he pleases. Need a very different 2nd half. |

As the old saying goes, " Wherever you are in London you are never more than 6 foot away from a Chelsea player acting the absolute c*nt." |
