No party does what is right for the country < I gave up following politics closely years ago as it does not matter what party is in power.
Talk a good game in opposition but in power fail to act |

My mother still thinks that she has savings (bonds, Isa, cash in the bank) we haven't the heart to tell her that everything above £23000 is taken to pay her carers |

I think everyone agrees that the care system is not fit for purpose, but for over 20 years no one has been serious about doing anything about it. No one is willing to pay for it so it will probably drag on for many more years.
I have just finished selling my Uncles house to pay off a very large care home bill. The house had been in the family for over 100 years we were left with a few thousand pounds. Now my mother is needing care but as she owns her home get little help with the cost and has been told she will have to pay the full cost of her care home. Her sister who is already in a care home is fully funded because she didn't work or own anything, fair?? Work save all your life end up with nothing, spend all your life save nothing and it's all free |

Chatting to some Lincoln fans at the station after the game they were all going on about how good and loud their support was. Our support was so poor they hardly heard it all game!! |

I think Yates was chosen because it was on the main route from the train station, and it was over the other side of the road from the pubs used by home fans, maybe one of other pubs nearby will be used (Witherspoon's could always take it over!!) |

The club is hoping they will arrive today, and they will be posted first class tomorrow, knowing the post many will not arrive by Friday!! So could be long queues at Lincoln |

Just missed out first time around, just bought my ticket this time (new ground for me!!) Decided to make a weekend of it and go up Friday with the wife so booked a city centre hotel in the city centre.
No idea how the club are going to get ticket to me by Thursday? I may go down to see if I pick it up. |
