Dembélé new boo boy?
at 15:55 21 Jan 2026

Therein lies the biggest problem with Dembele - his lack of desire and work-rate, particularly defensively. Fans can forgive the odd mistake but hard work and effort are non-negotiables. It's why Smyth, though not as technically gifted as Dembele, gets more empathy. It's also why Madsen is a man transformed. Last season you could see that he has technical ability but he just wasn't working hard enough. This season he's covering hard yards, snapping into tackles and trying to effect the game. If Dembele wants to turn it around he could do a lot worse than follow Madsen's example.

Whilst your collecting can you check whether we're owed money for Trevor Sinclair?

Crumbs that was a difficult watch. Both games against Oxford this season eminently forgettable. Reaching for positives, another clean sheet and a point on the road.

How was that not a free kick for the foul on Madsen? Oxford almost score from the counter. QPR need to up their intensity.

Good save Walsh.

Hope I'm wrong but that looks ACL territory. Referee very unsympathetic to what looks a serious injury. Shame because he was playing well and dove tailing nicely with Smyth.

I get what you're saying but with all due respect I'm not sure it makes sense. Hoos is merely an employee. He takes direction from the owners therefore I can't see a scenario where the owners were in favour but Hoos rallied against.

In any event, we can speculate until the cows come home. The bottom line is any planned investment is welcome news. In the words of Ice Cube, today was a good day.

Sounds odd given MC is 6ft 1" but I think he's too short to be a top notch keeper.

Barnsley are reportedly plotting a loan move for Crystal Palace goalkeeper Owen Goodman. He's 6ft 4".

I'd go with Hamer and Walsh for the remainder of the season.

I'm guessing that the Swansea fans held Joe Allen responsible rather than marvelled at Adel's skill.

You do realise that it's ok to constructively criticise a mistake? That doesn't mean folk are looking for scapegoats or someone to burn at the stake.

Dunne had a great game against West Ham. He made only 2 mistakes both of which were ruthlessly punished.

Nevertheless, I for one am pleased as punch he's still ours and would love a few more like him in our team.

Sell Jon Varane ?
at 23:48 14 Jan 2026

I couldn't care less what you think is unfair. He was race baiting and I wasn't the only one to notice it. If you didn't register it then perhaps you need to wake up.

You're also not registering the fact that his (and your) argument is factually incorrect. Field and Smyth get as much if not more criticism than Varane.

It was only a few short weeks ago that the club made an official statement condemning online abuse aimed at Paul. Meanwhile, Varane has his own song.

IMHO Dave Mac was also race baiting. A very odd thing to say indeed.

Masters Snooker 6-2 sweep

All eight first round matches ended 6-2. Odds were 44,000-1 for such a sequence.

I can't recall anything like that happening before?

Top class save. Looking at that it's hard to believe he's 43. Soon he'll be eligible to play for QPR.

Folk like you have earned it and deserve it. I have no qualms about paying taxes to ensure you continue to enjoy it. The problem is there are many who didn't earn it but are entitled just the same.

January transfer rumours

No, thank you. It would be so QPR to replace a keeper who doesn't come for crosses with one who runs to the half way line.

Just for once can we embrace good news rather than embark on a forensic investigation of who said what back when. It was a different time, with different ownership model, and different board with different aims.

Good news. Building solid foundations is important for the future sustainability of the club. Investment in infrastructure is also exempt from P&S/FFP so it makes complete sense.
