Aged 6 or 7, my brother (5 years older and an Ipswich supporter) instructed that i need to support a team. Showed me the 1st Div and i quite liked the name. And that was it, with the extreme good fortune that it was just up the A3. |

Probably my favourite glug of the week is late Sunday afternoon, listening to 5Live or music doing the roast. A bottle of red simply disappears. Not great for Monday morning work sh*t though, but pain outweighs gain just. |

Had some fab times in late teens/early twenties with the old mushroom tea, freshly picked on Weston Green in Thames Ditton early Autumn. But as with everything - moderation moderation moderation! Knew a few that seriously overdid it, had bad times and became somewhat unhinged as a result. |

Agree with all of that Mod except 'the very strong premiership team' bit. They've got the stench of relegation. They narrowly beat our injury-hit squad. They've got some pace up front but that's about it. Their defence looks lower half Champ. |

Also just back eventually (my Elizabeth line tactic from Acton main line backfired spectacularly when trains were suspended on way back at Paddington).
Heroic defending but we had little midfield presence really. It felt like we were playing a top 6 Championship side. Those injuries last week hurt deep...first time this season we didn't have a strong bench.
Thank the lord we don't have to play at that soulless wasteland of a stadium each week and i can understand why the Spam support is so muted, we'd be the same i reckon. And ffs...those bubble machines...wtaf...it was like being a Peppa Pigland.
We return to W12 with heads held high enough i reckon. |

I said to young Crowe when i saw the line up, that it was team picked to try and ensure a couple of wins at home on 1 and 4 Jan. Felt like yesterday's team selection was purely about saving legs for those games and if we should chance on a point or three then that's a bonus. |

As a fairly seasoned business traveller, BA has been diminishing as a product for years now. To be honest, as long the flight is on time i don't really care on short haul. Even the Avios programme which has kept me in 'free' flights for years has been devalued.
But they're still better than easyjet, ryanair and charter flights on short haul. And worse than most (except US carriers) on long haul. |
