Agree with that, but we always look vulnerable when we go into defensive mode.
If we could keep the offensive side of our game going longer we might have less scares like last night.
Anyway, he'll look at that part of our game for sure....he's doing a brilliant job. |

Another win, I couldn't be happier BUT.
How come we keep reverting to Russball? I know Bazunu likes playing with his feet, but that was getting ridiculous. In the first half we started to knock it round the back too much, but the 2nd half was nearly all tippy-tappy in our own penalty area. I understand that there are periods in the game when you have to slow it down and keep the ball, but for us it nearly always ends in tears.
Keep attacking and manage the game out in the last 15 minutes.
And agree our subs are not good enough. |

I get the impression Tonda is a deep thinker will learn from games/ mistakes and will get most things right. Aribo at Leicester was rubbish and proved it again at Millwall, so will we see him play again after 2 bad showings? The answer should be NO, but I would say SR are insisting he gets game time, so they can move him on.
Tonda being young and inexperienced at this level might be unduly influenced by the owners and could be swayed by the senior players. You wouldn't see that happen with Koeman.
Tonda has proved he can get this team firing and he will learn quickly, so I'd stick with him till the end of the season and then see who's available.
A new keeper in January should be a top priority. |

In the Dancing Man Brewery enjoying a hearty meal before the game. How will Leicester set up tonight? Having just seen us score 5 in half a game I reckon they'll go more defensive than usual, and keep it tight with 2 ranks at the back hoping to catch us on the break.
It'll be interesting to see how Tonda deals with this.

That first half!!!! Suddenly we're moving the ball 'forward' at pace AND with intelligent, incisive passing, with everyone running into space.
That a major turnround. Jack Stephens moving the ball up the pitch, it's looking really good.
The second half calmed down, but you'd expect that when you're 1- 5 up. |

This is the sensible thing to do, I think everyone would like to see what he can achieve, and if he doesn't do well, then the search for a manager continues.
Also there are very few available managers out there who've had a lot of success in the English leagues at this level.
Steve Cooper is the only one and he's taken. |

I'd give Tonda another couple of games to see if he has what it takes. Charlton and Leicester would be a proper test. If we won those he should be appointed.
If we ditch him now we'll never know and he'll probably end up being successful at another club knowing our luck. |
