Hey Pat, I was on the beach in Marseille too. My first world cup and experience of tear gas too.
Also went to euros in Portugal and world cup in Japan. |

One of these modern catch phrases that came up during SR tenure. Or maybe coined by Russel Martin himself.
I can't recall now, maybe even put on here at TUI. Point was to accept failure and move on/ grow with each failure I think. Ridiculous I agree. I was being sarcastic but it probably didn't come across as that.

Our players used to be sold for millions to LFC. Now they are going to a failing WHFC. Soon they won't even get to premier league clubs.
Our club has been torn apart from top to bottom from the heady heights of european football, continuous PL top 10 finishes and talented youngsters to being just a poor efl club and a feeder club to other European teams in lesser divisions [Post edited 21 Sep 13:22]

Agree Dorset. Just caught up on the extended highlights and i was appalled.(Again)
Though, midweek, if the scouse play a weak side and ours put in a shift to get themselves in the shop window then a win in the cup will give some respite for now.
May as well "embrace failure" that's all that we can realistically look forward to.
The happy clappers can carry on clapping, the bedwetters carry on wetting. I'm beginning to not give a toss either way which is a very sad thing to say.
Even if we are tied to this club till we die and I'll still follow them but the passion to support is slowly being worn away, season by season, game by game. It's going to take some to reinvigorate this [Post edited 21 Sep 6:51]

Yes they might turn it around but there's no point keeping your head in the clouds in a game like this.
