The Cobblers are doing rather badly in L2 this season so they evidently need all the help they can get.

IMO Man City should be treated the same way as Rangers in the Scottish Premier in being relegated down to the lower levels of the League - I think the National League would be fair. Then put them under a strict transfer fee and wages embargo.
Then on their adventure back up the League pyramid they'll be inadvertently helping the finances of non league & lower league teams. The way this would work would be:
Man City relegated to NL and bottom 2 Premier League teams to Championship (hopefully Ipshite is one of them)
bottom 2 down from Championship to L1
bottom 3 down from L1 to L2
bottom 1 down from L2 to NL with Man City
Promotion from each league upwards remains as is.
Then Man City will spend their summer selling their big budget players on and having to budget for lower league players.
Harsh but fair IMO

Another draw but Sesay had the first and final say with both of our goals.

Kouassi has something to prove judging by his stats. Hopefully he will do.

Difficult to say as refs are paid to be impartial or at least theyre supposed to be. Weve had enough bad refs working against us over the years as well though tbf they do have a difficult job. If the Oldham management and players were aware of that then they should have been more vigilant.

I watched the highlights and some of the OAFC fan videos, talk about whining. Maybe we should offer them cheese & crackers with their sour grapes whine next time? Their players need to learn to keep cool heads.

It was always going to be hard against a team with a huge budget that nearly reached the Prem last season (and prob would have done if they had not been stupid and spied on Boro)

Decent play from the Us so far, still 0-0 at HT. Other 2 l2 sides rotherham and cheltenham not doing so well.

Yes I agree, BG should have been given more backing to bring in the players he wanted and was far better than Mullins who was basically a 'yes man' for the upper management.
Anyway, its up to the Exiles who they appoint but I can't see it ending well for them...

Could be an intriguing signing, hopefully he will be this seasons Micah Mbick minus the late season injury.

He wasn't very good for us at all so I do fear for Newport next season. They made a huge mistake letting Fuchs leave.

The West Ham match ended 2-2 with Raggett & Oni scoring - could this be Oni's & the younger LIsbie's breakthrough season?

Yep that is really sad, he was a cracking player & worked wonders managing Newcastle and nearly taking them to the PL title in 1996 which was such a shame - but who could forget his TV interview that where he said "I will love it if we beat them (Man Utd)" RIP KK...

Kylian kouassi has been linked with a move here if he leaves Blackpool. He is a forward but doesnt have a brilliant strike rate according to his stats.
