I limit myself to small bets, usually a fiver a week, and some weeks I just don't bother but I have no problem betting against us.
If we win i'm happy. If we lose i'm not happy but at least I have some respite.
Should I feel shame? might as well make use of some insider knowledge. though proximity to our circus is a hindrance as much a help. |

the BBC has joined many other UK publications and sites in that, especially regarding close-proximity politics (no one shouting in your ear when you're doing a deep dive on Tibetan yak herder strikes), reading their output will have you less informed than when you began.
out of habit i've continued using their sports page but even that's gone downhill rapidly in terms of quality and content. Mostly in relation to their longer written pieces, 'analysis', and bait headlines. [Post edited 9 Mar 21:14]
