With five home games left, 3/4 of them being against teams I suspect will be on the beach like us, and players returning from injury, you'd hope for more than 4, and realistically we should be aiming for 9/10. But this is QPR. |

The only positive I've got is that we've already played Sheffield Wednesday twice so can't gift them their first win since October |

I cannot see anything but another walloping on the way in midweek. I know their form has dipped slightly, but they have still only lost two at home all season (one of which to Middlesbrough which is understandable after their performance today) and will be looking for a reaction after losing to Charlton. Part of a dreaded three game week, morale at a season low, no returning players from injury. We've had a 4-0 and a 5-0 in recent weeks, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a similar scoreline on Wednesday. Good luck to all travelling fans - I'd book the 8:30 train home if I were you. |

Something I posted on X last November. No matter the season, the outcome is always the same: |

Our 2-1 win at their place sealed our safety last season. Wouldn't be surprised if we ended up in a similar position with our game on the 6th |

If I was a Birmingham fan I'd be deeming this season a failure. A lot of money spent on a lot of players, but will ultimately end up mid table. I personally don't rate Chris Davies as a manager at all. |

Truly disastrous that a club can have three goalkeepers in one season, all as bad as each other - with our best goalkeeper out on loan at another Championship club - and (guess what) is injured. |
 | Forum Thread | This season Vs last - progression at 21:34 22 Feb 2026
It took us until April 7th, 40 games into the season, to get to 46 points last year. At that stage, we had only won 7 home games, and 4 away all season. This year, we are at 47 points in seven less matches, having won more home games (8) and away (5). Bar a disastrous run of form (which, as this is QPR, can easily happen), we should be seeing some strong progression and I hope we are able to spend the next three months going into each game looking at play off team results, rather than relegation team. I know Stephan seems to be a divisive manager so far, but I am happy with how it has gone in his first year. |

Defeat today means Sheffield Wednesday can now be relegated away against Sheffield United. Would be a cruel end to a very cruel season for them. |

There is a player there. We saw it last season, we saw it at the start of this season. But since his International break, he has not been the same. Understand he has come back from an injury so that may have had an effect yesterday - but we did also see form drop off pre-injury. He was visibly upset at his performance on international break earlier in the season - could it be a mental block after that? Whoever spoke to Madsen during summer should get on the case with Koki if so. He puts the effort in, and clearly loves playing football. I do hope he finds his form again. |

Another uninspiring performance, and I do feel like Stephan has to figure out how to gain control in away games. However - our last three away games have all been draws, and in previous seasons I believe would have all been losses in similar circumstances. Drawing away is not something to be sniffed at, especially if you win at home, which we seem to be doing well at (bar a last minute madness against Wrexham). Take it, move on. Beat Blackburn, it's a good point. Lose, it's a bad one. |
