I love a 20 goal striker but if you wholly rely upon them then hope they don’t get injured (Austin) or suspended a couple of times or go off form etc. Spreading the goals around does alleviate this but probably not as exciting. |

Sunderland have lost 4 on the bounce (I wonder if they rested players knowing 3rd place was pretty much unattainable and 4th guaranteed), I can't see it being a 5th.

I too was at that game and first time I'd seen him in the flesh and he was streets ahead of anyone else, but as a Manager, pundit etc.... nah.
Also an argument for watching at the game vs on TV. Not wishing to start an argument with anyone (that's really not my purpose) but you really do see a different game on a screen compared to being there. |

Burnley have to go for it against Millwall if they have any hope of winning the title otherwise they've handed it to Leeds before the game has begun.
If it filters through that Leeds are 3-0 up at Plymouth, for example, then they might just give up and Millwall may get something but Burnley have to start strong.
I think Bristol will win, they have to in order to guarantee a play off place. Their home form is the 4th best in the division, their away form is worse than ours.
Preston's away form is shite (and their home form not much better either).

The next most forward QPR player after Dembele looks like he was tumbled over in the centre circle? Maybe missed by the officials if all looking at the ball?
That one player could have received a diagonal pass and through on goal.
Still, the amount of Burnley players busting a gut to get there compared to ours was very telling.
On the match thread it was suggested that they are average players who probably are just being coached better. Why is it people simply cannot admit that when a game is lost (any game, not just QPR, I see fans of other clubs doing this) that maybe, just maybe, the other team is better, a lot better.
Same with us when we won the Championship, so many opposition fans saying we were nothing special. Nothing special yet top all season bar 2 weeks early on, most clean sheets, divisional player of the season and so on...

Yeah, they were fking appalling in victory. Constant abuse on the way out of the ground and as we were leaving the car park and on the way out of town.
Then you have the hotel alarm incident, refusal to play the national anthem, insisting on having the home kit and dressing room because they genuinely considered themselves to be the home team.
Fk ‘em.

If I’ve got my maths right, the lowest we can finish is 19th, barring Stoke winning their last game by a big scoreline and/or us conceding a shed load in the last two games. |
