Less comparison to Kone, earlier your 1st attacking sub would be Frey…

Agree with this opinion. I like that kolli is looking to shoot on sight. In contrast to a lot of our previous frontlines. Yes his touch can be heavy but same with Rumarm of Brum.

After the last 3 games happy with this outcome.. … when we arguable we’re supposed to have 6 points from Norwich and Portsmouth.

Echoes my thoughts. I think Rumarm and Kone should rotate, or Rumarm act as a RW. I can see Varane-Mads-Hayden as the Midfield. Poku and Kollli to get more time. I am a fan of Cook but he has a lost a step.

My impression is exemplified by his Post-match comments: The enthusiasm and satisfaction has to be invigorating. I was really impressed.

The other temperature guage, as many point out, is the sheer improvement in the players, from last year to this.

Great discussion. For me, Varane has shown enough to attract interest which in itself is peaks volumes. He basically is doing the job is 2. I agree with many here, Morgan deserves a look in Madsens role.

Considering THIS game had blinding saves (Hamer) that easily would have converted to a loss..And (in my view) having Hamer probably nails a win against Southampton.

We have opined exhaustively that our goalkeeping was fractured and Hamer nailed that point.

Thanks. That's my view. With the 3-4 'defensive' midfielders (Varane, Mads, Field, Hayden) it did look like he (Morgan) might see more time at RB.

Millwall deliver QPR’s latest reality check – Report

Great Report.

'To put Frey and Kone together again against anybody, and expect a different result, was the definition of footballing madness'...insanity.

On Kolli: Loved those comments!! His cameo at Bristol was a difference maker. He certainly should be seeing more game time if healthy.
On Burrell: Does his (ghastly) first touch add to his potency? It just seems to sucker defenders, only to see him beat them.
On Vale: He works best when the proposed recipient to his passes can run.

Ultimately, I agree. We are exactly easier on the eyes than QPR teams of recent past. Even if occasionally insane.

Vale teams with Rumarm well. So that was off. Cook was where I saw the biggest weakness. Once he wore down their speed opened up opportunities. With Mbengue on that changed. Ultimately I think we saw Mbengue as a key man in the back, and Rumarms speed is also a big difference maker.

QPR's impressive resurgence faces acid Millwall test - Preview
at 22:50 17 Oct 2025

...Nicolas Madsen is top of the QPR squad for ball recoveries and chances created. He’s also won more ground duels than any other QPR player and is third behind Varane and Cook for aerial duels won...

Surely he must score tomorrow.

I enjoyed the game too. I thought Ryan Manning played well and with some better management could have brought more offense on that side of the pitch.

Glass half empty.

In our 1st 3 games no Kone. That could extrapololate to 5 points lost.

Coventry look beastly right now (GD of 20 after 8 games). Our result though ghastly, is not too unlike the pounds of flesh Ex-prem Sheff Utd and Millwall just gave up.

More: Stephan is still experimenting. As noted Cook is a great player to have but Mbengue's speed and force make him the better option. Dembele is a dribbler-nothing more. Varane has impressed me since day-1. There are improvements to make and I think Kieran could take over as RB.
