Cheers - I suppose when you spend years in the Championship, you get lots of the same refs who aren't deemed good enough to go any higher.

Can't believe he has been in charge for 30 of our games! Anyone know if we've ever had any other ref more often?

Interesting choice of player to compare Madsen against when you consider Man City paid £76 million for De Bruyne in 2015.

Main Reason you started following QPR ??
at 21:04 19 Jan 2026

My dad used to go to see Rangers when he was a teenager. In his mid 20's he moved to Wales but still followed the club although he didn't go to games.

When I was starting to get interested in football, I started looking for the QPR scores because my dad did and it grew from there.

My 2 kids (21 and 18 now) have followed in the family footsteps and are both QPR now and we get to 7-8 live games a season.

I suppose he has done so many Oxford games because they have spent most of the last few years in League One

Afcon final
at 16:39 19 Jan 2026

There's been lots going on in this tournament including quality of training facilities/accomodation, security for players and complaints about refs while in their semi-final the Nigeria goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, had his towel stolen three times by a ballboy and Moroccan officials.

And we never spoke of it again – Report

Well summed up - Lets hope for a better performance at Oxford but given our recent away games, I don't hold out much hope. Another 0-0 maybe to go with the home game against Oxford?

St Oke Methodist Church Away Match Fred
at 12:25 18 Jan 2026

In isolation, I expected a poor game given the number of injuries we have and a point is a reasonable return.

However, the last few away games in the league, probably since Derby, we've been very poor and the 442 formation doesn't seem to be working away from home. I think we need to try something else, especially with the make up of players who are currently fit. I would have hoped we would have used the last week to work on something different but it seems that JS doesn't want to move away from 442 irrespective of who is and isn't available and the fact recent away performances have been poor.

WLS also reporting Stephan saying he might wait to include Ronnie Edwards in the QPR side as he hasn't started a game for two and a half months and was training on his own for the last couple of weeks he was at Southampton.

Old Geezers' Bus Pass
at 10:50 15 Jan 2026

It is a bit of a mess that in Wales, Scotland and N Ireland you can get a pass at 60 but in England it's state pension age (apart from London).

Another 7 years for me before I qualify, unless I move!

Traitors UK thread **WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS**
at 10:45 15 Jan 2026

Some of them seem to be forgetting the aim of the game and are more interested in being friends than finding traitors which is helping Rachel as she seems to be friends with quite a few of them.

One of them (Matt?) mentioned last night he had been noting who voted for who during the round tables, which I think is something they should all be doing, but a few just seem to be voting for the same people every time (Ellie just seems to vote for Jade every time without any evidence just because Amanda did.

Also, will the injury list force a change in formation anyway? Recalling Sutton after agreeing a loan extension seems a strange move unless we are worried about how long the injured players will be out.
