 | Forum Thread | Juric linked with Croatia manager job at 12:01 1 Apr 2025
Sources close to the Croatian FA believe that Zlatko Dalic could be due to leave the national team job in advance of the start of their World Cup qualifying campaign. Dalic has had a very successful 8 years in the role, including a World Cup Final appearance in 2018, knocking out England in the semi-final. However, a disappointing Euro 2024 campaign has meant his stock is now at its lowest since 2017. With the likes of Luka Modric nearing retirement, the Croatian FA feel that a new approach is required. Ivan Juric has impressed by showing his willingness to pick youngsters in a challenging Premier League campaign for Southampton, and his appointment would be seen as a coup by the Croatian FA. Juric is a fan of a high-intensity game, which he has struggled to impose on a squad which have struggled in their first season back in the top-flight since 2023. It is believed that discussions have begun between the Croatian FA, representatives of Juric and management at Southampton FC. |

The thing is, regarding the two "exclusives" just posted on here in the last half-hour.... I actually think Parsons is daft enough to do the lot. If the Club aren't looking on here for guidance and wise counsel, they darned well should be. |

Can't wait for this to boost all our morale; presumably later today. Scruff announcing returns for Bree and Super Jack is surely what is needed to bring on a clamour for last-minute purchases of tickets. |

Palace have won every away game they have played since the start of the calendar year. Unbelievable run. I fear I have answered my own question..... [Post edited 31 Mar 8:13]

 | Forum Thread | Saints' highest paid director was paid £1.28m in year ending 30 June 2024 at 08:50 29 Mar 2025
A little snippet from the accounts. And this was a year when we were in the Championship, and with a much-reduced turnover. God knows how much we have been paying them since being in the Prem. I'm sure the fanbase wouldn't begrudge the people tasked with making key decisions on behalf of the Club from having a remuneration package commensurate with their talents.... I just hope that the director in question isn't Ankersen, given that he has purportedly been seconded to be the chief decision maker for Goztepe. |

Looks like Spors is starting to ring the changes. |
 | Forum Thread | Which numbskull on the board wanted Juric as boss? at 07:06 17 Mar 2025
The list of runners and riders: Ankersen Bitcon Kraft Parsons Dragan Katharina This has the smell of Ankersen all over it. Dragan needs to buy his shares and get him out of Sport Republic. [Post edited 17 Mar 7:07]

Did any Uglies go? Have to say, I have seen little on the socials about it today. But then it didn’t exactly look like a stellar line-up of darts pros. Must have been bloody cold in there…. |

 | Forum Thread | The Knightwood Lounge at 14:58 11 Mar 2025
I have seen some blurb from the Club, trying to push activity for the Knightwood Lounge for Saturday's game. This I believe is the quite new cocktail and canapes offering at the back of the Itchen North. It pains me to think this is what has become of that area which I used to love standing in. Is this truly as horrific as it sounds? |
 | Forum Thread | Prices for next season at 09:00 11 Mar 2025
What do we think? There surely must be a fairly significant increase looming for THE WALL, after Parsons' decision to heavily incentivise people to move into it for this season. At the risk of being a turkey voting for Christmas, I am hoping there is quite a big increase in the price in THE WALL. Might help get some cleansing to sift out a lot of the Allez Allez Allez song merchants and phone addicts. If I were Parsons I would drop the prices for the rest of the ground by at least 10%, and increase THE WALL by at least £100 for the season. A season ticket at £599 for 23 home games is £26 per game. A relative bargain for a season of HIGH OCTANE thrills and spills. |
 | Forum Thread | Travelling apart after a game at 10:09 9 Mar 2025
A good friend of mine saw Sulemana, Onuachu, Bella-Kotchap and Aribo on a London-bound train after the game, travelling apart from the rest of the squad. Does this speak volumes for a lack of unity in the squad? Or just a sign of the times of how players are nowadays? I don’t personally approve of this sort of thing going on. |

Cunha will be banned for the Wolves game on Saturday week. We are going to batter Wolves. Possibly. We might get a new highest defeat record this Saturday, mind..... |
