We don’t have a Premier League budget now though.

We can ill afford to spunk £3.5 million on a player who MIGHT be half-decent in a year or two.

That money would equate to a significant down payment on a half-decent striker in the Championship.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we really have to start picking Adam Wharton.

He's a fantastic footballer.

Until he stops inexplicably picking Curtis Jones (the new Mason Mount) and Henderson, we are never going to achieve much.
