Is that up to them? If they want to recall him, go ahead. Otherwise, if he's not cup tied, we'll play him as we see fit.

Chair will be a real boost if we can get him back soon. Picks it up from deep and progresses the ball forward in a way that only Madsen is doing for us at the moment. Would allow us to continue playing forward while giving Varane a rest.

Nardi Hamer what’s that all about?
at 11:03 6 Jan 2026

A lot of talk on their forums about him being one of their players of the season and keeping them in games. One comment seemed ominous though:

"another side scores from one of the 8 or so corners they put into our box yesterday. Not one of them from memory was dealt with by our keeper, despite most being in and around the 6 yard box. Cooper is another in a long line of keepers we've had who are good shot stoppers and not much else."

Sounds familiar...

It's the NFL..again.

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory - that's Ravens football for you. Can't say we'd have troubled the play-offs if we're being honest. Big question on what we do with Harbaugh, Monken, and Orr this off-season, as well as Lamar's contract and massive cap hit. Can't waste another year of Derrick Henry and Lamar.

Our Pitch
at 12:05 5 Jan 2026

Ye, they're the sprinklers. If you were there early enough, you saw them popping up and creating little puddles.

The pitch looking so cut up this early on - it's only going to get worse and more churned through Jan and Feb with all the sht weather. God knows what we're going to be playing on come March

Kolli

Absolutely love the lad, hope he can keep fit and build up some sharpness. I think he's the best striker of the ball at the club, absolutely leathers the thing.

He'd misplaced a couple of passes and skied that one chance, but he didn't let it get to him and he kept on going. Compare that to Dembele missing that chance and going missing for the rest of the game. Kolli has the exact amount of arrogance and confidence you want in a forward.

So Cifuentes ?

I'm thinking the other way round - boo him to start with, crank up the atmosphere which I'm hoping will be nice and hostile, then give him a nice polite applause once we've walloped em.

Late goals and wild celebrations at Loftus Road......
at 16:34 11 Dec 2025

Wild celebrations in the garden of the Crown and Sceptre, that's for sure. Social distancing out the window, Clive climbing on my back spraying his Peroni everywhere. Landlady was not best impressed at all, give us a right ticking off.

What shitty hospitality. At £7.30, no wonder he couldn't keep buying pints. If he's not causing any trouble, let him be. Can't be that busy at 3pm on a Thursday. I popped in there a few months back for a quick one and was surprised at how expensive it was - not a particularly nice part of Fulham either.

Are you Madsen?
at 15:20 11 Dec 2025

Respectfully, I'm not sure I agree with you here Lazy. I think Madsen does get up and down the pitch now. Whether it's picking the ball up from the CBs to play forward or drifting over to the left to pop it about with Chair and RND, he is pretty mobile. West Brom was a perfect example of this, crossing from the right for Varane and pressing on their edge of their box for Burrell's goal

-

He doesn't move with electric pace, but he certainly gets through his fair share of running. I also think at the moment he gets through more defensive work than Varane does, smashing through players and winning defensive headers. He's protecting Varane, not the other way around.

Rail seating potentially expanding
at 06:12 5 Dec 2025

Making Y standing doesn't make much to me. I'd want to concentrate all the standing blocks in the same corner, rather than dot bits around. For my money, I'd expand standing through the whole of R Block

Feels like a 400 odd pitch doesn't it? Such a lack of situational awareness, as per - stop us leaking boundaries, keep things tight, and put yourself in a good position to get stuck into them in the trickier second session.

Really good rebuild from Crawley and Root. Creepy really needed these after his pair, looking dominant. Approaching twilight soon though - Neser and Doggett bowling now, feels like they're saving Starc for the poor lighting.

Dembele needs to do it consistently. I think he had better games just after he signed, stringing some fantastic performances together before getting injured and dropping off a cliff. Needs to maintain that level from last week. My concern on him stepping up a level is his lack of pace and physicality. Think he could get lost in the Prem.

It's been going downhill since it's refurb in about 2014 when it got bought by Youngs. Before that it had an excellent range of really interesting beers that you'd rarely see on tap elsewhere - now it's often the same old Youngs line-up (although I haven't been in a long while). Lost it's character IMO.

Sounds like a nice little tour. The Bush Tavern (to give it it's full name) is meant to do really good burgers. There was a weird little spot on Old Oak Road near the A40 called No Drama that was excellent - they've started at The Bush Tavern now, so want to get down and try the food.

It wasn't until my mid-twenties that I realised a 'pickle' was a pickled cucumber, and not another distinct type of vegetable.

205 seemed like a competitive total, but I think that wicket really flattened out, as a lot of people predicted it would. Didn't seem to be much in it for the bowlers as it went on. Had we (Pope, Brook, Root in particular) batted for time and not got out to cheap wafty drives outside off-stump, we could have put up a proper total. I quite like Bazball, but there's a time and a place to just bed in for a bit - that they still can't see that is bonkers.
