Hi Southamptonfan, as you've replied to my post I agree with you, I stayed until the end, as I did for Spurs last season and commented on how you could leave early at such a vital time but I guess if your on a train or ferry or whatever you consider a valid reason personally you might not have a choice? As you say it is annoying and last season especially seemed to have a lot of "tourist" fans on their phones but I guess that's the new generation of people attending matches versus the majority on here who are in my age category as I suspect you are. My point though was the comparison with Denis Rolf all those years ago and it's good to see that passion coming from the Tonda. Anyway, it's great to see such exciting football again and winning, so long may it last. |

On the fans "finding our voices" in the final minutes after feeling very frustrated watching that second half, that was in some part due to Tonda turning into Denis Rolf but with white trainers rather than the white t shirt! |

Taylor H-B is the only other option if Stephens is being dislodged having captained England under 21s, did he captain Burnley in there promotion season (?), it appears when he's in the right place he leads by example and the added responsibility might up his game to cut out some of the errors? |

Tonda has given D Downs some game time but the big problem is that he doesn't touch the ball, it's as though the ball and him are opposite magnets! But I hope your right! |

We keep hearing we need an experienced manager but with experience can also come issues such as being stuck with plan A and no alternatives and brining in your "favourites" and all managers need to start somewhere. I'm hoping we've stumbled in to getting a new and fresh manager so say let's give Tonda a go! |

I remember Berkamp, having never scored for Arsenal, scoring his and there first at Highbury, there were a number of Saints fans who were relatively happy as they had a bet on him to do just that knowing how charitable we were and still are to strikers out of sorts! |

To be honest after yesterday's effort I don't care, Fellows to Manning to head in, both causing problems in the first half, admittedly game won by the second half so not so attacking. If TE gets this right great, I therefore don't care, 3 centre halfs but two attacking players so four at the back is more defensive? Obviously only one game but if we are learning then great, let's have more Tonda! |

Whoever the Manager/Coach is is irrelevant if they are not 100% in charge of recruitment and that's where the problem is, young players with potential for the future are all well and good but you also need solid pro's for the present and that's what we do not buy? |

Did he not request a striker to replace Ings and SR gave him nothing, so he was on a hiding to nothing, it's hperphetical to know if he could of kept us up but IMO he may well of done and it's not gone better since and that is a fact? |

Yes, agreed, to be fair when Koeman came in, with his brother, I thought it was a good idea that Sammy Lee was bought in independently, but when Koeman left he also just "disappeared" so the continuity didn't work. WS comes in on his own with appointed staff, that didn't work, so do we have to accept that a "Manager" needs to bring and leave with all his staff? |
