couple of times in my playing days we’ve had a lack of players and ended up with a son of a team-mate who’s meant to be the best player in the boys team. that’s how Bennie’s inclusion felt today. unfortunately he’s nowhere near ready - like playing with 10 men. either smyth or kolli should’ve started.

hate to say it but I can't see anything other than an early west ham goal and a comfortable beating.

the gap between non-parachute championship teams with premier league ones has never been wider. west ham to have a break from their league struggles like burnley and wolves did yesterday.

good to see Wan-Bassaka's DR Congo getting off to a winning start. Would like them to hang around until at least the quarter finals to save having to play against him for West Ham - one of their few premier league quality players

currently watching QPR leg-end Macauley Bonne (Zimbabwe) playing against Mo Salah (Egypt) and you guessed it good old Macauley is not only mostly onside but his team are winning.
