To be fair they’ve won three league games in a row 1-0 so probably right to not change a settled side and maybe not the right circumstances to take a chance on a young loanee. As long treks go I wouldn’t mind them coming up at all. Not played there for a long time, proper ground, curry after.

I don’t want to sound defeatist but you can’t really have a worse fixture than West Ham away on a Friday night straight after four internationals squeeze into a window. They can put a strong side out from players who have had their feet up for three weeks. It’s poor of Sky (when isn’t it?) to have a Friday game at all next week. Probably money to be made simply backing teams with bigger squads.

Burrell back from Honduras (FFS) in whatever state he is in on Wednesday. Charles and Smyth’s final match is at home. Ireland’s is in Serbia for some reason. Saito is down as being in the Japan under-23 squad (?), Kamara in Belarus and back Wednesday.

This isn’t the place for it. There are a million Twitter accounts on either side you can argue with. I have some very strong opinions and share them elsewhere online when I can be bothered or see something I feel needs correcting, as is more common for this one topic than most. There are even other QPR forums for it if you really want one.

Really poor this speaking from an Israel perspective. Like watching a Russell Martin team with and without the ball. Fair play to the Irish team who were clearly well up for it and manager who picked the right XI after that abomination the other night.

Does this mean Dunne can’t play outfield tonight? Seems a pretty dumb rule that you have to name three goalkeepers when there are tiny countries that won’t have three playing at any sort of standard fit and available. He’s now getting flak from Twitter nobodies for it.

Probably the sort of thing I’ll try once and I’m it won’t be a cheap place for a pre-match few but it is still a pub. Good luck to them as it’s a challenge to make that site work.

Something that used to irritate me was grown men in football shirts on holiday but quite enjoy it now. Boring of course to see an Arsenal/Liverpool/United shirt but quite a thrill seeing a Northampton Town fan doing a walking tour of Valletta. Old bloke in the hotel I’ve seen wearing a different Leicester shirt each day so far. The obligatory dad and son in Sunderland shirts baking in yesterday’s city heat.

I’m sure it’ll be great at Spurs/Arsenal. Less so when some throbber is shuffling past you with a pint in each hand 10 minutes into each half after half a dozen before the match at QPR/Luton. Excited to see which linesman gets drenched by R block first.
