Football cyclical and sheep like.

I know younger supporters who haven’t seen sexton and Venables teams or Alec Stocks get tired of hearing about it some of us are just so lucky and privileged to have seen that football and those footballers live.

Norwich mate here in the US telling me he’s playing really well and keeping the midfield connected to the team. What they were missing apparently. Field and McLean schooled the Leicester midfield Saturday to quote his mate who was at the game.

Gary and Alan Macdonald were manager and assistant manager when I was there. They were lovely humble people who had all the time for Rangers people. I used to be on the sidelines watching the sessions and felt the players never fully gave either of them a fair chance. Too many pi$$ takers.

Alan Mac was a coach educator and put on really high quality thoughtful football sessions and from my perspective I thought the players weren’t interested. It was if they didn’t want to think about the game or work on it. I really wanted them to do well and they had Rangers in their hearts. Paladini being around didn’t help.

John Gregory came in and got everyone jumping on each others backs.

Everyone holding and grappling at corners during the Arsenal game. Team scores opposition all go apoplectic about the holding and pushing and making VAR gestures.

Weird season. Look forward to some games as plenty are on live tv and have little if any interest in others. Rangers is a hard watch too many times.

You and I have been away during a ten year+ period of the lowest win/points percentage in our history.

Wondering as years go by becoming a fair weather fan.
