One thing I think is that are we really to believe other clubs don't do the same, not on this scale but they are all at it, Stoke and their bet365 sponsoring everything. I'm not overly convinced that Man Utd actually earn as much as they say they do either and thats what this has done, it's taken away all the trust and integrity of the whole league and the cause of that is the clubs coming up with ridiculous unworkable rules that they have all had to lie and cheat to get around.

I think a lot of the celebrations were more about us staying up, the way they won it was incredible though so was hard not to feel pleased for their fans rather than the club. |

Thats a great example of why the rules are a farce, you've got clubs falling overthemselves to break them. The idea was to protect clubs but it hasn't done that at all. They should have scrapped FFP or whatever they call it now ages ago.
But as with Southampton in the summer and the spy stuff if you sign up to these rules no matter how daft they are you have to adhere to them and when you break them and get caught hard luck. I don't like the rules but when QPR got done by them there was no use blaming everyone else, it was our owners fault. Same here.
Football has gone mad the last 15 years with accountants and lawyers taking over the game thats before you put VAR in and have to change the rules every 5 minutes to try and make it work. Football needs a massive reset. |

No Prime Minster is going to come out and have a go at the City Owners becasue we have very close trade relationships with them and much more. I thought he was as diplomatic as he could be in the circumstances. I'm not really sure why he's being asked about it to be honest. |

They are all at it, selling womens teams to pass the threshold, selling grounds to yourself.
It's all quite mad. A set of unworkable rules brought in forcing clubs to regularly cheat to pass them and I'm not sure any good has come out of it.
It's like Var having to change things every season when the rules they brought in go wrong, they could just scrap it but they keep doubling down
That doesn't mean City shouldn't have the book thrown at them but the rules have always been ridiculous |

I thought Eze was good when he came on and Lewis Hall played well. Was prettty much as expected to be honest, we still look ropey at the back but was pretty comfortable in the end |

I find the English attitude to this tournament mad. If we finish top 2 you go into a quarter which will likely mirror the next Euros, a real chance to play some proper games against proper teams. The likes of Spain, Portugal and France take it a lot more seriously than we seem to |

Man City still claiming it's all rubbish, they are in massive trouble here.
That is horrific.
I quite enjoyed watching their team as a neutral, played some great stuff but it's clear they did all that with financial doping, That whole decade is tainted now. Good job we ended up being shit really |

We are still 2 years away at least from this concluding but my punishment would be a 30 point deduction and a fine and then repeat that for every season they cheated so this season the get -30 and are stuck in the Everton zone of no europe but probably won't go down, then do it again the next season and again. Doesn't relegate them but is far worse to have no chance of Champions League or winning the league.
The awkward question of it all is was this happening at other clubs before the rules came in which will probably be why other clubs won't be pushing too hard to open that can of worms. |
