Mr Elbow. While I respect your right to be a superior aesthete, being rude to fellow fans is rarely acceptable and your seem to be rude to everybody who doesn't agree with you. At the risk of encouraging your ire I would rather we played like QPR circa 1976 (which I saw) than yesterday's vintage, but we don't have Bowles, Francis and Masson, we had bunch of hard working, well drilled, often second choice championship players at a famously difficult place to go, and we did a decent job. Upsetting opposition fans is what you are supposed to do, certainly better than sending them home happy. As the man said "if you want entertainment go to a circus". We've sent enough clowns to the slaughter recently and yesterday we came away with a hard earned point. I'll take that. |

Entertainment? As a wise football manager once said, 'if you want entertainment go to the circus". It was a point. He had a point. |

Enjoy Stoke, it's lovely. Sadly I can't make it. |

Then don't dramatically redevelop it. Utliise what we have, make good, freshen up, we don't need a bigger stadium just a slightly better one. Brentford and Bournemouth have proved you don't need 50000 to prosper. |

The stadium was terrible, but the real pain was the journey to and from; the barren environment, the one station, the schlep. For that read Park Royal or Royal Oak or Scrubs Lane or Hanwell or any other God forsaken, outer London site. Loftus Road is in the perfect spot for transport, pubs ,restaurants, life. |

All those people suggesting we move away from Loftus Road should have made that hour and a half shuffle back to Stratford Station through a God forsaken hell-scape. Lord preserve us from a new stadium. worst place I have ever watched football. [Post edited 11 Jan 19:49]

We normally soil the bed badly in front of big away turnouts, we normally embarrass ourselves in FA cup 3rd round games, so all in all I am predicting a QPR victory. |
 | Forum Reply | Sell Jon Varane ? at 16:56 10 Jan 2026
I have no problem with Varane apart from the almost perpetual reverse gear. He seems like a good lad, puts in lots of effort, breaks up play etc, but so does Hayden and I wonder if we really need both. If they offer proper money, ie anything north of five large, I think we have to go for it. I feel no emotional attachment and if it helps fund handsome Ronnie plus a proper full back so be it. Another one of the real old school fellows who I've known since the early 70's has passed on. Alan was steeped in our history, our community, our club. He was West London and hoops to the core of his being and he will be missed. We'll all meet up by the railway tracks. |

Or as far as Paul Smyth can throw them, which as we all know is not very far. |

I wasn't there yesterday because I was working though had the TV on in the background. Can I just remind you we won 3-0, no we didn't resemble Barcelona at their best, but we won 3-0. Usually Wednesday, however bad they are, come here and turn us over. This board is starting to sound like the most whingeing lot of entitled aesthetes, for God's sake enjoy a win, rather than picking on individual players, including a kid who scored a brace because he made a couple of errors. Let's just occasionally savour a job done. |

Don't feel sorry for Frey and don't agree about 442. That formation has worked well this season more often than not. Sometimes we can get overrun in midfield but it creates opportunities, we have scored more goals this season because of it, and teams don't know how to defend against it. Means the fullbacks become more important which is where we have sometimes struggled, but overall it works for us. |
 | Forum Reply | Is anyone else feeling a bit depressed this evening? at 15:44 2 Jan 2026
Didn't help that it was freezing cold and I haven't warmed up since. Had a ropey kebab on the Uxbridge Road before the game and it went downhill from there. Just feel a little numb after a little period of excitement and hope, as if the season has now been stripped of any potential pleasure. Maybe a win at West Ham will cheer me up and the prospect of a cup run otherwise it's just the realisation that this mire is our lot, seemingly for eternity. |

No idea what will happen tomorrow, which QPR will turn up, whether the curse will continue, but on a longer scale I am genuinely positive. This manager had turned me around, I think tactically he is astute and pragmatic. We have the players for a 442 and it seems to throw most teams we play. We also have real characters: Burrell, Mbuenge, Kone, Dunne, a proper Rangers side. I'm sticking my neck out and predicting we will finish top six, beyond that the Gods will decide. But let's enjoy the good times, and let them roll. |
