This isn't a surprise. These are wealthy, privileged, entitled people who are used to having everything their way and getting whatever they want. They don't have an electorate to account to and aren't used to abiding by laws because they are the law, and they are contemptuous of democratic systems of governance. The really stupid bit is we've given them and continue to give them all their wealth and influence by dragging our heels on domestic energy security. |

Kelman scored 7 from 33 appearances for Charlton last year and I think quite a few of those apps weren't the full 90. That's a goal every 4.7 games.
In contrast, Kone's 10 from 43 (most the full 90) is 4.3. OK, that's better and I'd rather have Kone, but it's hardly a quantum leap. |

I can't really see the argument they're going to get away with a light punishment.
The depth and breadth of the charges is unprecedented, and City are still denying and contesting it all. The PL is going to have to levy serious punishment, otherwise the whole thing is a farce, including the PL itself. They'll be tossing away all their credibility and clout for what? |

And also, obviously, if they bought a Champ club they'd face the same rules as everyone else - we're been butting up against the limit for years, it wouldn't make any difference if our owners had ten times as much money, they still wouldn't be able to spend it on players. |

Ratcliffe is incontrovertibly a racist. He's also a polluter and climate destroyer who doesn't live in Britain and doesn't pay tax in Britain, so any of his opinions on Britain are worthless junk. If people could manage to be moderately civilised and not create an El Nino sized beer shower every time we score I'd be fine with it. But we all know that's a given. And as well as the ructions that would cause, there'd be loads more discriminatory abuse and general pissed up idiot behaviour.
So it's a no from me, Andy, unless you're including a season's supply of ponchos. |
