Born and bred in Northern Ireland. Started coming over in the black days of 1999 and did up to 16 games some seasons. The travelling with cars ,planes ,trains and replacement buses has pissed me off to the point of only getting to 5 or 6 a season now. Said i would knock it on the head at 200 games and Coventry at home will be game 197. When i get there i love it, so who knows
Top six teams use a run of fixtures like we've had to build up points. we just turn soft as shite and fanny about. Seen it so often it doesnt' come as a surprise.
Good luck with the venture. Get a couple of pallet collars ,some cardboard and compost to get you started.(make your own from now on with all the weeding and kitchen scraps) just stick stuff in the ground and it grows. I make my own compost and grow potatoes and all our veg. a wee poly tunnel/greenhouse for tomatoes is another good idea.
I expected us to start the season on a high after a good end to the last one but we started like we did under Ainsworth. Then we had a good spell where we looked a top six side. Now we have reverted to what we are. A lower Championship team with a lack of bottle when its put to us. Is this group of players really any better than the last handful of seasons? I don't think it is. Major disappointment is my opinion.
