Man City - GUILTY
at 10:30 27 Sep 2026

Other cases are completely irrelevant. As was “115/130” which was always just tabloid fodder, it’s always been 4 offences, plus non-cooperation which holds a non-sporting penalty.

You literally have one of the country’s most respected sports journalists, with impeccable sources within the hallways of Arsenal saying it’s not going to be anything to write home about penalty wise and that the clubs wouldn’t want that anyway.

Which of course, makes sense. Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea can all now say ‘we would’ve won those titles 10 years ago but City were cheating’. The PL will have absolutely no desire in driving superstars like Haaland out of the league, devaluing the tv rights not just for them but crucially the other clubs in the league. They will also have no desire for City to appeal and drag it out another 2-3 years with the risk of them actually winning an appeal.

Finally there will be no general desire to not have an official statement that the #2 of one of the UKs biggest trading partners is a liar and a cheat, not least in Whitehall.

As said, a settlement with City being allowed to claim their innocence, but agreeing to draw a line under it with a smallish points deduction, a large fine and paying all of the PLs legal fees will be the inevitable result.

The chairman’s statement yesterday was pretty openly twerking for a settlement between the lines and Ornstein tweeted that the clubs (aka Arsenal) have no interest in a huge penalty, so it’ll be a settlement. A decent enough points deduction to cost them European football for a season and a big fine.

Nobody is entitled to compensation unless they specifically filed with the tribunal for consideration in the event of a guilty verdict, and we ‘know’ from leaks before the initial hearing that only Utd, Arsenal & Liverpool were accepted.

Presumably O’Reilly had forgotten about it when he setup the second goal.

Kone knee injury - Not ACL, but serious

Nah, if you’re not in the 18+2 squad there is no requirement to attend home matches. He sits with his mates and pays for those tickets privately. As for away games, it’s never been free travel and entry for non matchday players.

Of course this is all a waste of all our lives, he is a kid with no future at the club and one we all waste far too much time talking about.

And the higher ups who have repeatedly and openly lied for 4 years now are definitely being truthful this time….

Obikwu, Chair, Smyth and half the youth team would be picked ahead of him and they’ll tell you “he doesn’t want it enough” while he goes home and away sat with the fans and rejects numerous chances to leave because he’s desperate to play for the club.

It will be another 12-18 months minimum before any punishment is announced if they appeal so it could/would be easily manageable timing wise.

More likely they’ll come to an agreed settlement with the PL where they refute any guilt but “agree to draw a line under everything” in return for a huge fine and a small points penalty.

And they will appeal so we start again with another brand new panel, another 8 weeks of evidence and another 12 month wait for an answer.

West Ham tickets - GENERAL SALE 5PM WEDS

My great aunt - twelve removed - ‘Ethel the Enforcer’ has been home and away since 1913 and only has 3495 points…fcking liberty.

If anyone has a spare 17 tickets going spare it would be a right touch and ‘she’ would be extremely grateful. If you get what I’m saying…

From the angle the ref has, there is no scenario he doesn’t give a free kick. As Norf says, a stronger ref might have made a snap decision of yellow and calmed the situation down. At match speed though from the refs position, you really can’t argue that much with a red. A needless lunge from a player trying too hard to rectify a minor error.

It’s less deep than that, it comes down simply to the fact that some were in the room with the chairman some time ago when he said, very off the record and off the cuff, that Kolli would never play for the club again so long as he was in charge. And some weren’t.

There is a fabulous case study about social engineering to be made from the fact that people will actually buy that a kid who goes to every game home and away on his own money doesn’t care enough to train properly.

I mean he looks a level above, because he is.

He was going to United a couple of years ago before he blew it up, and his career in many ways by being a tw@t. Stay fit through January and he will move on and that’s fine, it’s a deal that works for both parties.

I do know this, as do several others on here who were told it verbatim by Nourry.

He wasn’t invited on tour because the club want him gone. The end.

In fairness the club haven’t threatened legal action against anyone talking about the kit, unlike anyone discussing why/how Furlong left.

I mean it’s about Nourry because as several have been saying for some time now, the decision to try and push Kolli out comes from the top, just as it did to make Walsh number 1 last season with predictable results.
