Is the season over?
at 08:20 20 Jan 2026

My view the.like for like replacement for Madsen will be Edwards.

With Cook Dunne and JCS occasionally we will see Edwards get game time but not neccessarily at centre back.

You heard it here first.

Its a 50 50 signing, but have been happy with the clubs overall recruitment strategy the past couple of seasons and perhaps time to give Nourry and Belk some praise and only a few out and out mistakes made.

Zan Celar is still our player but i think the fact we have adapted our model to picking up players with experience in the leagues below us in this country as opposed to obscure divisions within middle Europe. Thats positive.

Definitely encouraged by his interview. Looks genuinely excited to be here. Players do need to be hungry to listen and learn to succeed and seems the selling point of some of Stephans previous youngsters, he has developed, seems to have had an impact also.

at 01:16 20 Jan 2026

Understand this.

I have said the odd stupid thing on here and wound up a few, but its never consistently all knowing. Etc.

A clever man / woman is the one that knows they are never always right and adapts if its shown by weight of responses that they need to listen to the majority, if they are consistently called out.

The ignore button could be used. i dont use it myself, but on this forum for me, its unneccessary.

I actually think its positive people arent banned or suspended from here, but if i was constantly mocked or seen as the pariah here, it would not do me much good, as in general, its a nice hobby to come here and chat nonsense.

Cant see a lot of fun posting insults to others and being called out for it often. And then continuing to do so. It makes zero sense. But if thats the case, so be it. Its weird though.

Morrison has never really let us down. Just been unlucky that its currently one of our strongest areas on the pitch.

We may sell him and he could do well at this level elsewhere, but in fact think its decent of the club to loan him out, as fourth choice centre back and one more injury and he gets a run of games here.

Good luck to him, i say.

Main Reason you started following QPR ??

Maybe, I should start another thread Brian ;

"Main Reason You Carried on Following QPR"

My answer, probably like many others, could be summed up in one word -

"INSANITY !!"

"When the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea"

This really clever bloke said this to deflect he had recently been seen administering a kung fu kick to a man full onto his neck.

Think his clever retort made everyone think he was a nice chap, after all.

Try to be a littler kinder to others Stainrod. Life goes a lot more smoothly if you do....

Hey.

I have a cunning plan, master.

The next thread he starts designed to cause drama, lets all agree with him and suggest perhaps he should be in charge of the team and make all the decisions mainly because he is such a solid and depnedable type of guy.

That'll learn him !!!!!

So in all your time since following us since the 70s- same time as myself watching QPR actually - and by your own admission we have had some in your words "shite strikers", in all that time and all other teams squads at this level also, Kone is the worst technically that you have EVER seen at this level.

Think you know that statement is simply not true in anyways and you seen ourselves at this level for many seasons.

Sorry that is some statement to make....

Really !!

Dembélé new boo boy?

On here, would say there are two that are competing for the boo boy title, so alongside Dembele, we have Varane.

However recently, a third contender has come to pass. Monsieur Kone.

Look you can't keep name calling every poster you disagree with. The insults are unnecessary Stainrod.

We are fans of the same team, so why do you seemingly enjoy insulting anyone that simply disagrees with your viewpoints. What is it with the nasty names you call people. You are always first to do this also.

Would you say this to someone if you were actually with them - face to face. If you would not, then please refrain from doing this. Its all a little strange.

Its hard to fathom why you do this and also it resembles the behaviour of a young little teen that resorts to anger when told to sit on the naughty step. You are not the messiah. You are just a very naughty little boy.

Seriously though, public apology really required from yourself I would say, chap.

Stainrod.

We had loads of injuries. We were away from home at a team higher in the table to us and got an away point. It was a rubbish game but we got a point. Often, in the past, we could go there try to play and lose 3 - 1. Everyone will be moaning and we would slide down the table.

Yes we pay to be entertained but the result is everything in football.

We adapted to our situation at this current time and we came away with something. Some games are cr*p like this. It doesnt define a season and Stephan who you are suddenly associating with shut down football, well as you well know, we dont play like that every game. The key to any sport is to play the occasion in the best way to give yourself the best chance to give yourself the best possible outcome, all well and good. Even if its awful to watch, which happens occasionally.

You would be aware of the famous Holloway quote when we won an awful game and he described it, as you could back then - we had gone on a night out with the boys and we managed to achieve success in that we poached a young lady for our entertainments, she wasn't the best looking, but she was a young lady, all the same.

Crikey if he said that now - he would be first item on News at Ten and be effectively cancelled !!!!

Anyhow, I am guessing you get the picture....

WOW - What a post about Kone !!

"Technically, one of the worst strikers ever seen at this level."

Kone for me shows a lot of know how, creates space for the other striker, is unselfish, and is likely to improve and has had a decent first half of the season, has cracking power in his shooting, also.

And has done well, especially, considering he was playing an extremely low level amateur football, just two years previous. He is learning and potential to improve, as still very young.

Have you witnessed any other of our strikers in the last decade - let alone any other teams at this level.

The following emojii states my response to your opinion on this, chap !!

Aww man...

AI at its finest.....

Well, it looks like we are signing this young fellow. WLS have announced it, so think that means, its definite, for sure.

If it works, his profile is very different to any other striker that we currently have, and that makes sense as another option in games. The age, he is, guessing a loan out or development squad to start with.

Welcome Justin...

Terrible game.

Decent result.

Sometimes in a season these points are important. We have a long injury list and possibly could have nicked it at the end.

A win away at Oxford and all good.

Nothing else to see here.

I have no issues with religion or faith either Dorse.. Doesn"t worry me either way. If it works for people all well and good, as long as it's not used for division and abuse or people pretending to be amazingly pure.

I guess its positive that some of these young guys, openly express their faith at football and feel comfortable doing so.

Didn't work that well for Mr S. Armstrong ex of this parish though.

Question is Dorse does the Almighty like nob jokes !!!
