 | Forum Thread | Don’t even think about staying Dibling we don’t want you. at 16:36 3 Apr 2025
Last evening he couldn’t even be bothered to warm up properly and when he did come on to the pitch his effort and running was just as pathetic. In my opinion he’s just an overrated petulant teenager, who I for one cannot wait to see the back of. |

He’d struggle to understand what a map actually was, let alone where the Indian Ocean was upon it. |
 | Forum Thread | Relegation places now settled this evening ? at 22:21 1 Apr 2025
After Wolves win it’s difficult to see Ipswich or Leicester making up twelve points in nine games now. With Liverpool pretty much certain to win the title it’s going to be a very boring end to the league with everything looking settled by April the First. |

I was also there for both games dirk. Semi final, in a seat which was inline with the big box. I remember thinking Gilly will never score from there and in a split second later the whole stand around us erupted with joyful Saints fans. Second goal, Micky was outside the box when fouled for the penalty and the ref bought it. Peache’s penalty went straight down the middle of the goal and as you say the noise after he scored was the loudest I’ve ever heard at a Saints game. 6-0, I had a Palace neighbour who gave me stick all week long before the game and was conspicuous for his absence when I returned home. Happy memories that keep me going even though currently our wonderful club is in the hand of a bunch of incompetent doughnuts. |
 | Forum Thread | Rooney spouting incoherent rubbish on the B B C again. at 18:15 29 Mar 2025
Failed manager with Derby, Birmingham and Plymouth yet again he gets paid by the B B C to give rambling half time comments about tactics in a mumbling inaudible voice. What a waste of licence payers money. [Post edited 29 Mar 18:19]

Yep, a club with less ground capacity than St Mary’s owned and run by people who know what they are doing. Not that long ago they were flirting with relegation and brought Roy Hodgson back, he saved them but couldn’t do the business the following season, so they sacked him and replaced him with Glasner. That’s how a proper football club does it Sports Republic you bunch of overpaid amateur 🤡s. If they turn up and want it on Wednesday St Mary’s could look very empty by half time once again. |

It’s a reflection of the modern day world unfortunately Pat. Directors rewarded obscene amounts of money for abject failure has become the norm. Just look at :- 1. Thames Water. Billions of pounds in debt but still paying share holders massive dividends at the same time as dumping effluent into our rivers. 2. The failed Track and Trace system during Covid which cost tax payers £42 billion. 3. The Post Office scandal where innocent people were wrongly imprisoned with some resorting to taking their own lives. It’s suck it up for us ordinaries and doubles all round in the Board Rooms. |

Interesting alternative view. Perhaps you can enlighten us as to exactly how you think Trump placing tariffs on trade is “looking out for his country” ? Asking on behalf of all muppets, right, left or centre. Any chance you could also provide us with a code to decipher “ the lying Two tier lying TW@ we have here!!! ? |
 | Forum Reply | Has it all gone a bit stale now? at 10:38 27 Mar 2025
Without doubt grumps, not surprising really given as though most sensible fans could see that we were going straight back to The Championship as long ago as the weekend the clocks went back. Even the Branfoot days weren’t as bad as this, back then at least the fans cared. Sports Republic’s doughnut owners and management have ruined a once respected family oriented football club. The question now is with Sports Republic remaining in place, how long will it take for us to recover our identity or has it disappeared forever ? |
 | Forum Reply | Southampton To Play £100 Million Hardball With Manchester City & Spurs at 23:46 26 Mar 2025
Trouble is though Pat, we could get £25 million or £100 million and either sum the doughnuts who own and run Sports Reports will waste it on young hopefuls and Championship journey men. That’s what they did last close season and make no mistake it will happen again this time. Two Premiership relegations in three years and on course to be the worst team ever to contest the league says all anybody needs to know about them. [Post edited 26 Mar 23:47]

Hope springs eternal but the bookies don’t think it will happen. They are offering 10/1 against relegation with six other teams at shorter odds. |

March 25 10.53 :- “ yes you could say that ultimately what the ticket manager does ultimately rests with Sports Republic”. March 26 10.16 :- “ Sports Republic are not directly responsible for “ALL” things S F C”. Hmm. |

Nick, with respect you really are on the wrong side of the argument on this one. Probably I suspect because of the fact that your understandable loyalty to, and love of all things S F C, has temporarily clouded your judgement. Every man and his dog can see that Sports Republic are responsible for all things S F C and you did in fact acknowledge the same in a previous contribution to the discussion did you not ? If you take your last comment that it’s wrong, clouds the water and is counter productive to its ultimate conclusion, then no criticism of Sports Republic ( however small ) would ever be allowed. I’m reminded of a couple of old expressions:- 1. Never fight a battle you know you can’t win and 2. If you are in a hole stop digging and look for a ladder. |

Again Nick and said only in fun, do have a holiday. “ Sports Republic have a chain of management, the ticket office manager will be right down the list of that” your words not mine. So on that basis ultimate responsibility for the ticket office managers actions rests with Sports Republic’s management does it not ? If not, then with whom exactly pray ? [Post edited 24 Mar 17:23]
