That 3rd paragraph rings absolutely true. If you want a spiritual journey it's not a substance you take with your mates down at the pub. Set and setting is absolutely crucial as to how your mental state will be affected while doing it.

I'd absolutely love to try LSD, no idea how I'd get it out here in New Zealand. I love the visuals that πŸ„ gives and I've heard LSD is acutely visual.

Yeah it's been refreshing that western medicine is finally catching up and it's being used as an alternative. Plants are literally our saviour in a variety of ways.

They say our brains actually harden as we get older and we have evolved as a species alongside πŸ„ as when taken they elasticate the neurons in our brains like when we were children again.
It makes total sense on how we have evolved into an intelligent species when there are plants that give us insights and use parts of the brain that have been dormant for centuries.

I find the whole topic absolutely fascinating.

I'll check out that video, thanks for posting.

Haha that's classic. I couldn't imagine tripping at a football match. It might just make those dull QPR games more interesting, lol.

I've done magic πŸ„ 3 times in the last calander year. Life changing full stop. The war on drugs from the US absolutely killed what potentials we would now have in front of us for helping our mental states in a variety of what are now Class A drugs.
Heroine and πŸ„ should never be spoken about in the same class of substance.
I did a lot of research on how I could improve my own mental health and came across Magic πŸ„ and I am absolutely astounded in the magic of their existence. It really is like pulling the veil off on why we exist and I always find I come out of the other side of it feeling much better about life in general and I'm now not afraid of death like I used to be.

Big bug advocate on them. Educate yourselves if you are having a hard time mentally. It's not for everyone but for the majority it definitely will be.

Got to be one of the worse drugs out there. Lump in the throat, talk absolute shite and you think your Billy big bollocks!

Now Magic πŸ„ on the other hand is a misunderstood medicine, notice how I didn't say drug. Absolute life changing as long as you have a good set and setting.

Coke has been around football for absolutely donkeys years!

On a serious note. I've got really high hopes for Ashley. Think he's going to be quite the player.

I'm absolutely with Hunterhoop on this. I'm happy it looks like we've got Ronnie. He'll fit in and hopefully it's the Loan Ronnie we get. It is a lot of wedge for today's QPR. In a position that isn't really needed on paper.

But we need to be keeping our best players fit and fattened up for sales if this model is going to work.

Let's be honest, there is no one absolutely outstanding in this division in our squad. Loads of potentials but we need those to be fit, ripe and performing over 70% of the playing season for top sales to come in.

I'd definitely be investing some of whatever money we have in overhauling or getting in people who fully understand sport science and conditioning to keep these players fitter and stronger for longer.

Welcome Ronnie, seats still warm. I'm sure he'll score against Saints for us when we next play them.

Lived in Cornwall/Devon for the first 23 years of my life, loved the 90's teams and saw all games against Plymouth and occasionally visting Loftus Rd. Embarrassingly the last game I saw live was against Oxford in April 1998.

Since 2012 I emigrated to New Zealand. So coming back for games even when I lived in the UK was tough but even tougher now.

Definitely on my list when I'm next in Blighty. My love for QPR since I emigrated has grown stronger even though they let me down far too often to count.

Try picking a MoM out of that performance Clive!

Absolutely spot on.

Obviously there is a disconnect between Marti and Masden but Marti didn't contribute to Masden having a bad first season that's on him and I don't blame Masden for that. He's taken a while to settle but shows what patience can do for a player like him.

How was Marti received today? Did he clap the QPR fans at all?

So glad we put in a performance like that. Just how I hoped it would be.

That's exactly what I thought as well.

He was loved here. Some people fit in very well at certain places. He had that here and now we've moved on.

Bigger never means it's going to be better.

Well that's understandable mate. It doesn't for me. I just hope we win so it doesn't feel like he's got one over us. I'm sure we can agree on that.

I don't think we will ever fully know what happened. Which is a shame as you want closure, like I said before it keeps his character intact for me unless real evidence is proven otherwise.

I never had a problem with a manager who has high expectations for himself if it's conducted in a respectful way. Marti for me was that, Nourry wasn't at the time.

Nourry has gotten quite a bit right and also a lot wrong.

That's also not to say Marti isn't in the wrong in any capacity. But as you can see in that video one things for sure he absolutely respects us as a fan base and knows we stuck by him in difficult times.

I've never watched another teams pre match press conference before, but I was intrigued to watch Leicester City's one with Marti.

Watch from 6.30 onwards for questions about Sat game with us and watch how his body language completely changes when he starts talking about QPR and especially the fans in which he still has such a great affinity for.

It was lovely to see for me personally.

I miss Marti, like I still miss Warbs. Both men of integrity. Set a professional standard from the off and didn't accept anything less. Those are the sort of people you want managing and coaching a team.

No one besides who were involved fully know what happened in Marti gardening leave so for me his character stays intact. Nourry certainly hasn't improved in this area of club management.

Marti inherited an absolute shit show when he arrived and steered it clear which was an absolute miracle.

If I was at LR on sat I'd definitely applaud. I've very much warmed to JS now but it took a while cause I was so QPR'd that we again messed an opportunity to go further with a good manager at the helm.

But....... This game means much more than it normally would. JS needs to be on his A game and I truly hope we put in a decent performance and a win to show we are moving in the right direction.

What are people’s thoughts on the Club pulling out all the stops in January ?
at 03:02 12 Dec 2025

Does anyone else think that Ronnie could do a job in midfield like Varane? I'd actually think he'd be a great signing that could fill a few positions. Although it is a position that we have cover in already.

Sterling would never come back. His wages are absolutely astronomical and go totally against what we are trying set out.

Julien Stephan - He is doing quite well !!!!

Marti absolutely saved us from relegation not once but twice.
He still for me has a very special place in my QPR heart along with Warbs, both men of integrity.

His reasons for gardening leave won't be known (if they ever will) to have an opinion on his character for me.

I think JS is a better coach overall and I've really warmed to him of late, I was very reserved early doors, (not of his own making, more of absolute dispare of how QPR were doing business) but he's quietly getting on with it and you can really see why he was highly regarded and interviewed for the role. Just look at Masden turnaround, not sure if Marti would of been able to achieve it.

CN deserves credit for that along with recruitment. CN also needs to improve relations with Fans, he's still hard to like but I can't knock some of his business decisions as we are overall in a really good place.

Even with the some odd results the place feels lighter and moving in an optimistic direction and I'm definitely enjoying it.

It will be however, properly QPR to mess it up. So there is always that pessimistic side in me that feels disaster is just around the corner.

There is a reason we are not allowed nice things. JS is currently our nice thing! πŸ˜‚

QPR Development Pathway???
at 07:51 9 Dec 2025

Are we going to see young players given a chance in the first team soon?

Let's be honest we ain't going up and the team this year looks and plays better than last, so to me we ain't going down either.

CN spent considerable time, effort and money to clear out the youth development and bring in different supposedly better prospects. Isn't that the model?

JS was brought in as he has a reputation for development.

Seems a missed opportunity not to be giving some of these players more of a go or at least be loaned out?

Heard someone say the other day "Field is injured, can't rely on RND for every game and Esquerdinha is a liability"

But that's the point isn't it? Esquerdinha is the exactly the sort of player we need to develop. Only way to do that is to play him, coach him through games. Not saying 90mins every game but much more than he's getting.

You can lump Bennie, Adamson and to a lesser extent Morgan into this mix as well.

It's about getting the mix of first team aspirations and development right.

Feel like although we are inconsistent collectively we still need to be allowing more youth to feature and not stagnate.

This signing seems fishy. Doesn't sit well and I don't know why. Am I alone in this?

He should be getting 1st team minutes by now at his age if this game model is anything to go by.

Injury Record Thus Far
at 20:00 28 Nov 2025

Not about to give old Benjamin Willi a Blowie but.......

Was the slow burn into the season a stroke of genius?

I realise the innuendos here are not fit for purpose!

We seems to be fairing a bit better than teams around us and it was a lot worse this time last season.

Slightly concerned on some players still blowing our of their rings at 60mins+ and occasionally getting cramp.

Still, could be a lot worse. JS actually having the pleasure of selection headaches going into games.

Just thought it was worth mentioning.

As you were.......

Welcome to the club. Absolutely over it. It's like crack. It gets worse as you get older and have less tolerance towards it.
